I didn't enjoy it as much as I thought I would. But the mystery was well thought out and the sexual tension between Sam and Nick was really well written. Since the author obviously gave the murder investigation a lot of thought I would have given 5 Stars for the story. Minus one star because as much as I like the tough "I don't need no man" women I'd like the guy to be just as toughk Nick seemed a bit needy.

Finally a book that makes me not want to put it down! I have been reading some ok/duds lately so this one was fun to read. It is about a girl who gets conned into marriage caused by scandal. Her husband and her have to get through their own insecurities in order to realize they love each other and are destined to be together! I loved it!

Sometimes I enjoy Argeneau books some times it's a hit and miss. Usually I enjoy the first part. The humour when badass vampire chases clueless/feisty woman and tries to tell her what's what. I really liked Lucian and Leigh's story and always knew Lucian would be just the right kind of bossy and sweet from all the previous books. I was all set to give it more than three stars but I thought it did drag along a bit and so it's only three.

Not your usual Richelle Mead novel, but still an enjoyable read. This book is set in a dystopian world where the world's population has been reduced because of a virus. The remaining population suffers from the aftermath of that virus and has low fertility rates, asthma, and bad skin and hair. The world is organized a little differently - religion is banned. The story follows Justin March, an exile as he is invited back to the RUNA to investigate some ritual murders. He is accompanied by the disgraced Praetorian soldier Mae and together they have 1 month to solve the murders.

I love me some viking vampire angels. I in love with Trond and Zed. I can't want to read the next book in the series. I am going to buy/read more books by Sandra Hill. She is now one of my top authors. I can't wait to read more books by her.

I enjoyed this book a lot. I only really didn't give it 5 stars due to small things that kind of irked me in the story, but over all it was good. The premise is interesting and it is delivered fairly well, though I don't know if that is exactly how it would all work out (being vague so that I don't give a spoiler).
It will be very interesting to see where this story goes.

The thought of a family vacation with extended family members would put fear into the hearts of many people I know, even those blessed with loving families. Don't get me wrong - these vacations can be a lot of fun. But consider the outsider invited into this chaos: 4 unruly boys nicknamed "Mass Weapons of Destruction," a despondent teenage girl, adult siblings - married, separated, and divorced, and the grandparents. Add in one reclusive and a bestseller list author, and the results are very entertaining.
I think that what I loved most about this book was that right away I felt like part of this family. I loved the interactions between the family members: the bargaining for time alone for haggard parents Lisa and Joe, Kevin's playfulness, Theresa's sadness and pain about her marriage, and Joe's generosity. Mike and Lisa's rambunctious boys also provided some sticky moments and comic relief. I loved Joe's parents, too. This is a loving family that plays, laughs, cries, and gets muddy together. They aren't perfect - they seem real.
Keri and Joe were wonderful together. It amazed me that an 18 year separation did not affect their feelings for each other. Their relationship built up slowly through the novel and I loved watching them get to know each other again. I may never look at an ATV the same way again. These two are hot!
This was my first Shannon Stacey novel and it definitely won't be my last. I can't wait to read the next book in the series - it's Kevin's story.

I really enjoyed this story. There was something about it that just made me want to keep going.
That said, this is not a book without its faults.
First, I do not feel that the author really portrayed a girl character very well. There were quite a few moments where Nica didn't quite act or respond how one would think she would.
Also, there were story flaws. For example, at night the town loses its internet and phone. However, about half way through the book, the trio are always texting each other late at night.
There were also a few other things that irked me. The author seemed to poke a lot of fun at antidepressants. He also pointed out way too many times that Nica was a world traveler. I understand shes been every where, stop pointing it out over and over. Also, I don't really think that he knows what picking out an outfit really is for a girl
I was really torn between giving this book 3 or 4 stars, I went with 4 because I really enjoyed the story despite all of its flaws.

This is the next book in the Rock Chick series about Jet and her crazy life. Jet works two jobs to help out with her family's bills since her dad left when she was fourteen. Her dad comes back into town and everybody is looking for him to pay back debts but all the bad guys decide to take it out on Jet. In the process Jet gets pursued by the sexy hunk Eddie!
I love Kristen Ashley and all her stories. This one is just as good. I love all the antics all the characters get into plus there are always lots of hunky, sexy, alpha male guys in all of her stories! I highly recommend this read if you want fun and funny!

Love kate love curran. The best thing about romance in uf is that the build up slow and while we cant wait for IT to happen we wouldn't miss any of the heartbreak the author will put us through,. Also. This series has superb world building.

Poor Edward! Never in his wildest dreams would he have imagined his girlfriend of ten years leaving him (and taking almost all the furniture!). He's despondent, and in a little bit of denial, so he calls his best friend Dan. Dan is a local television personality and he has had many girlfriends. Actually, Dan is a bit of a man-slut, bouncing between many one night stands and leaving a trail of angry women behind him. Dan comes to Edward's rescue and seeing that there is little furniture left in the apartment, they head off to the local pub to drown Edward's sorrows.
The book is laugh out loud funny. Between Edward's self-deprecating sense of humor and Dan's exploits with the women and Wendy the barmaid's astute observations and pokes at Dan's manhood, I was chuckling and giggling throughout. Edward is such a likeable character, and so easy to relate to. The male point of view on relationships was quite enlightening as men really do think differently from women.
I think that what I liked most about this book was that Edward was given a wake up call. Rather than wallow in self-pity, he took stock of his life and made positive changes that benefited him. The transformation from Cuddly Teddy to Handsome Edward was amazing. I really enjoyed this book and I am glad that I discovered this author. I'm looking forward to reading more books by this author in the future.

But I shall keep trucking on

This story had a pretty rocky start. It was awkward and roughly done. It seemed a bit like the author didn't really know how to handle the beginning of a sequel.
There were also a few grammatical errors. These irked me to no end.
However, eventually, the story did pick up and it was fun. It was obvious where some of this story was going, and I was starting to get a Sookie Stackhouse feel with some of the goings on, but it was still enjoyable.

This is the second installment in Nalini Singh's Guild Hunter series which is one of the most original prn/uf series out there. There is no one quite like Raphael and Elena. I like that we see how drastically her world changes and we meet all our favourite angels who play a greater role in her life. The mystery is as well thought out and as gruesome as usual but this world where archangels are at the top of the food chain and vampires scary in their own right are not much more than gophers seems to thrive on brutality. I love the way Nalini Singh balances the harshness and the gentleness in Elena and Raphael's relationship.
