G'day folks. Wayne from Brisbane Australia. Thank you for giving me access to your group. I am quite reclusive, having been housebound due to injury and depression for many years, but I have just written my first novel, JADE, so I am attempting to break old habits and create a more social existence. Hoping to make new connections with like minded people. Thanks for having me. http://www.amazon.com/Jade-Crystal-Tr...
My website and Twitter are still in their infancy, but I am contactable at www.thecrystaltrilogy.com and @CrystalTrilogy. Chat soon, enjoy your day.
Hello Wayne, welcome aboard!
I've not been here long myself.
Best of luck with your new book and if you want to say hi on Twitter too, I'm @theatricalEB.

Hi all: Christine Terrell kindly invited me to this group when she found me trying to convince some people to read one of my stories. I'm Olga, from Barcelona, Spain, but I've lived in the UK for...a long time (OK, over 20 years). I'm a psychiatrist (worked in Forensic Psychiatry for nearly 10 years) but have recently left my job to try and explore other things. I've also studied American Literature (I love book, of course) and other things. I write, not only thrillers but other things, and at the moment I'm also offering my services as a translator. I'd like to have my own bookshop and I'm going to work in Hay-on-Wye for a while to get to understand the business of running bookshops a bit better. Just in case you might be interested in my blog (I blog about books, I review books, I have guest authors, but I sometimes just write about whatever I fancy), do have a look:

Thanks very much and nice to meet you all!

Welcome to A GoodThriller!

Hey, I looked up your book, Jade, and I liked what I saw. It's now on my to-read list. I don't think I have ever read a book set in Australia, so this too adds to the appeal of Jade for me.
Chris

Hi. I'm Jannon LaRue. I'm excited to see what everyone is reading! I probably won't post often - if ever. I'm more curious about what others are reading than expressing my own opinions. I guess it takes all types :-)

G'day everyone, thank you for welcoming me into your group. I have uploaded part one of JADE to my e-books section, please peruse at your leisure. Thank you for adding me to your list Chris, I hope you enjoy your first 'Aussie' novel ;) All the best folks, looking forward to getting to know you all
A few people had asked me to introduce myself. I recently released my first book under the pen name Mark Allen. The book just released is quite violent compared to my first book Adjust (written under my real name Justin Mark) therefore I decided to use my other pen name. I live in Winterset, Iowa (bought my first house in February). I like to write, read, fly-fish, and when there is time do solo gigs at local coffee shops/wineries with just me on vocals and an acoustic guitar.
Met a lot of very nice people here so far and I appreciate everybody's support and generosity.
Welcome fellow Midwesterner, Mark! I'm an Illinois gal myself and had lots of friends who went to school in Iowa and stayed :)
Hello group. Philip, here... I live in SW Virgina, in a small town, with not a lot of other activities to but read, do daily events, relax and be bored to 'death'.... I like to read just about any thing, but mostly stick to the horror, thriller and mystery books. I get several of my books from Dollar stores, book sales, then my Aunt loves to read so I get several from her when she comes in for a visit from Georgia, which most of the ones she reads are in the romance genre; they make me blush...lol. I have read a few that she has brought me from Nora Roberts, she was just in and I have a box full again. Also like to read real life crime stories; but please go by check out my profile and if you have any recommendations, please feel free to send those to me. In my small town, I live in the country with 2 cats, Bubbles and Sissy. Single, 48 years old, disabled and enjoying life with some of my family. Glad to be a part of your group, a friend invited me to join.
Hi all, I live in The Lake District, England, so I've read a few Martin Edwards ! I have only started reading again recently and thankful for goodreads as I've found some fab books and I'm really enjoying reading again. So pleased to be able to join this group :-)

Thanks for making it available to us for free. I downloaded a copy on my Kindle app yesterday and am looking forward to getting to it soon.
