Never tried jet lag but I hear it's exhausting! Looking forward getting the 'normal' Dips back :)
Hi I am Bernie. I live in Northeast Indiana. I enjoy mysteries and thrillers. Presently into Agatha Christie. I don't really write and what I do write sucks. So I decided to just read because I enjoy that more.

I had never read Agatha Christie, but did read Endless Night last month for another book club. I really enjoyed it and gave it 4 stars. People who had read a lot of AG stated it was very different from her usual fare. Interestingly, most of these AG fans had never read this one. Most everyone liked it. You might want to give it a try since it is so different.

@ DoodlePanda/DianeAlice - To start with a "normal" Dips would mean being restored with a sense of time. My body clock is all haywire right now.

@ Janet - Ever heard of a Rich Dodo? My home is Calcutta. But I keep hopping, skipping and jumping all over the place.

@ Janet - Dodo's went extinct BECAUSE they went broke. I just flew halfway across the world and my jet lag is doing strange things to my body clock. I heard it is hot but since I have not stepped out of my apartment I haven't experienced it yet.
This group is growing so quickly.How awesome is that!

Hi!I live in central Maine. I am finishing up my BS in Information & Library Science and am the circulation supervisor at a public library. I don't have a lot of free time for reading at the moment but I am looking forward to the end of the semester and a homework free summer!!
I am a single mom of a 2 year old who loves books as much as I do.
This is my first online group and I'm very curious to see how things work.

@dipanjan - the days of a quiet library are gone. Most have designated quiet rooms sealed off from the rest of the library so "shushing" is gone with the wind :)

My name is Judi and I LOVE to read. I have several Kindles because sometimes you have to have 3/4G and sometimes Wi-Fi is accessible. I never want to be without the ability to read. I work full time, am married, have 2 wonderful grown children and 2 crazy dogs. Reading is my escape! I tried joining a book club locally but there were so many people and I couldn't hear what everybody was saying about the book that was selected. I liked the book they chose, however, now that several more books have been selected I can see they will only be reading 'safe' novels and nothing grisly or suspenseful and I need my suspense/mystery, historical fiction, biographies etc. I could see when I visited this site that some great books are being read and I'm so interested in sharing thoughts about books with people who are as passionate as I am. Thanks for allowing this group to be public! Judi
