didn't win. I voted for it even though I haven't read it yet (waiting on the pb - which will be h..."I was really looking forward to that book then the whole clichéd librarian came into play and I completely lost interest.
Hopefully one day soon I will be on a beach and need something light and I will love it like everyone else
Sadly until then it is a dnf
The librarian thing didn't really play much part in the story. More like a throwaway line after the first bit.Hope you get to it eventually, Dawn.

Yes? I'm not entirely sure, but what else could it be?
I finished
and thought it was fantastic! I'm looking forward to reading the other books in the series.I also re-read
and i still love it. such a fantastic amazing book! i hadnt read it in a while and the next book World After was perfect for my challenge, besides I've been meaning to re-read Angelfall for a while. I plan on buying my own copy soon.I also read
and it was fantastic, just not as fantastic as the first book :( maybe half a star less so? still makes it a 4 1/2 star read though. i jut felt like Penryn's strength's weren't shown as well in this 2ns book. still a lovable cast.cant wait to read
which is coming out in may!!!!! so excited!!

Anyway I think so but it seems to be magical because they men cannot take it off.
Am I a sadist that I am enjoying the pleasure slave being a male?? Such a nice change of pace.

I've never done a buddy read but I'm game if anyone else is. I'm totally down with male pleasure slaves, lol. So often it's the other way around.
I picked up a lot of books this summer at garage sales and happened upon Winter House by Carol O'Connell with her Mallory series. She has become an author that consumes me. I ran through her 4 audio books through our library and am now back to page turning fun! She has the blend of James Patterson's quickness and Stephen King's wordiness. An interesting note for myself is that Mallory is a reported blonde beauty, maybe because I am brunette, I always envision her as a brunette.Winter House

comes outPlus, I wanted to read in when I'm sure I'm not going to be interrupted for long amounts of time :D

I got a copy for the hubby for his birthday late Nov. He's started but I haven't heard any response yet. One of my gr friends recommeneded it for him after he finished Game of Thrones. Fingers crossed cause he doesn't really read.

It has a bit of a slow start but I'm almost at the halfway mark and it's picking up now. I've liked it from the start though. I like the humor shared among the Gentlemen Bastards. So far, it's sort of a cross between The Godfather and Ocean's Eleven.
Ok so I'm trying to reach my reading goal. I have finished
,
,
,
,
,
, and Box by John Locke. I only need one more book to complete my goal.
I'm about half way through
and just started
.
it's been a long time since I've posted anything on here because I've been in a reading rut. I found out in June that if was pregnant with my first baby so I've been so preoccupied with that. But I've missed reading so I decided to read a book from a favorite series, I'm currently reading One Grave at a Time by Jeanine Frost and it's doing the trick to get me back into reading.
