I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'd like to start it this weekend. So many new releases to get to and pesky real life isn't cooperating.

message 2254: by Alisa (new)

Alisa I'm at about 25% of Kiss of a Demon King (Immortals After Dark, #7) by Kresley Cole I hope this picks up. It's super boring so far and in the running for worst of the series.

Yes I've read all of those, including the Clean Sweep 2 serial. In fact I must check to see if the latest installment is up yet :)

message 2261: by Angie (new)

Angie | 419 comments Okay, I've turned to the world of ARCs apparently, not that I'm complaining about a bunch of free books, but it seems the editing is giving me a headache and this one is due out next week! It's Crave Vampire Romance Boxed Set and I'm on the fourth story I think, and if the author puts corner for coroner one more time, I'm not sure if I'll scream or cry! It's a really good story, two centuries old vampires that are police detectives 250 years from now, but that one mistake, repeated about ten times already, is driving me batty!!

message 2262: by Judith (new)

Judith Post | 130 comments I love it when readers pay attention to grammar! Yay for you, Angie. A reviewer found two mistakes in one of my novellas, and I was so embarrassed. My copy editor missed them, too. Guess it's going to happen, but ten times is a lot. At least she's consistent:)

LOL yea waiting for the next installment is painful but also exciting.
Its so wonderful how she's writing these free ebooks for her fans. I still end up buying the ebooks of course but its still great. lol.

have you heard her audio version of clean sweep? i not 100% sure its out yet or not, ive just come across random articles about it. should be interesting.

♥ Ashleigh ♥ Contrary to popular belief I'm not actually mad! (cheshire_red) Attempted to read City of Golden Shadow but unfortunately couldnt really get into it. to much POV jumping around, became rather confusing. beyond that good writer. also the book is like 700+ pages and it just wasnt holding my attention enough for so a large book.

so now im onto All the Paths of Shadow (Paths of Shadow, #1) by Frank Tuttle which i am enjoying. so far the characters are very likable. especially the talking plant.

How was Black Widow? I'm waiting not so patiently for it to come out! I have a request in at Netgalley, but last time they sent Poison Promise to me a few weeks AFTER it was released.

It was entertaining and I liked it. Mab's daughter is trying to take up where her mother left off, but she doesn't have the street cred to back up her bid for the kingpin of the underworld. Her plan to get that cred? To do what many before her have attempted, to take down the Spider. This one ends in an ironic twist at the end that makes me thinks things could become very interesting in the next book.

It's not. The publisher let me have and eARC. I'm crossing my fingers that a romance between Meg and Simon will finally start. I love how he's so protective of her.

Veronica (readingonthefly) You mean the Graveyard Queen series, Dawn? It will likely be a longer wait than that. I checked the author's site to see when book 4 would be released and apparently her publisher wants to have books 4, 5, and 6 in hand before they set release dates. They want to release them all fairly close together, which looks like how they did it with the first three books. I'm so used to the one book a year scheduled that it seems an odd way to do things but oh well. Book four has gone to her publisher and she's writing #5 now. I'm thinking it will be 2016 at the earliest before they hit the stores. I'll have to do a re-read by then.

Angie | 419 comments Almost finished with Crave Tales of Vampire Romance Boxed Set by Michelle Fox , I only have the story by Tabitha Conall left to read, which I will do as soon as I read Her Scottish Alpha (Colliding Worlds, #3) by Tabitha Conall . The first two in this series, The Colliding Worlds series, have been amazing. The way supernaturals come to be in our world is completely original, at least totally different than anything I've ever read. Definitely worth a read. They aren't long at all, the first one is only like 28 pages I think (but could be wrong), but Tabitha tells a full story in those few pages. The second was quite longer, at 120 pages or so, and I'm still amazed at how much plot she shoved in those pages! Absolutely delightful so far!
