I'm reading Magic Rises right now...just finished
, it was a lot like 50 Shades
I've recently read
which I loved.
which was picked by someone else for me in a challenge. Great book. I was really pleased w/this choice. Also read
I wasn't sure about this book before I started it but it was SO good. Totally not how I thought it would be (in a good way).
I'm reading
, and it's very good. I will definitely continue this series.
I also just finished my reread of
. Which I loved just as much on the second time around.

Lady D, I also love No Rest for The Wicked. Sebastian, yum!I'm just reading
, which is very great and as for me, it's underrated :(. Also
, which is great too. I'm glad I took a chance to read it, despite book 1 and 2 just okay for me.Also
, giggling over the purple prose and shake my head for the pregnancy tropes. But I love the Atlantean myth behind the story
attempted to read
but i couldnt get into it, so i put it down and started reading
which so far isnt to bad though a little young in the way the characters talk and behave.

We're doing a whole series reread on the Immortals After Dark group. It's really great to dive into this series for the second time. It stands up just as well to rereading.

Just finished
. It was okay. I was frustrated with both the male and female leads. I kind of wanted to smack them both upside the head all through out the book.
I finished Mercy Thompson: Homecoming late last night and loved it! Just amplifies my love for the Mercy Thompson books and Patricia Briggs in general.
I also finished Pacific Vortex! yesterday. Pretty good.

Not quite Part 2. But I've just started reading The Warlord Wants Forever. It's my first Kresley Cole, so I am keen to follow the re-read. I have a voucher from Kobo and I want to use it but just don't know what to get next??. Any thoughts would be most welcome.Lisa
Engaging in a reread of Rock Chick series after book 8. Fun stuff! I am actually enjoying the first book much more this time.
kind of read
, I mainly just skimmed it until the end, it was just a bit to YA for me.now reading
which im liking ALOT more, its really interesting. so far i'v had trouble putting it down!!
I just finished an ARC for Fatal Strike, and it was really good. I need to go back and read the earlier books after Behind Closed Doors and before One Wrong Move. Definitely great for sexy, sometimes cavemanish but very loving heroes.
I finished my reread of Rock Chick Rescue. Liked it but still think the ending is lame. I don't care that the next book starts two days later.
I finished listening to The Witness on audio very early yesterday morning, and I enjoyed it overall.
It really is the best book of the series in my opinion, I'm hoping Styxx will be at least nearly as good. I took a long break too, that's why I'm rereading up to Acheron.
It will be nice to get back into the DH world, because I miss them. I hope you enjoy Styxx, Traci.
Started
. I haven't read much historical romance before but I don't know why. My favorite classical romance book is Jane Eyre.

Ironically enough, those are my two favorite books of all time: Lord of Scoundrels and Jane Eyre!
Doesn't surprise me. I was recommended the book because I like Jane Eyre. And there is something in the language that reminds me very much of it. Also, Dain reminds me of Rochester (and the Beast) too. I'm loving it so far!
Can't say it enough, but Lord Dain is one of my all time fave heroes!!

Me three. ;)
Lord Dain really made the book for me.
Now I'm finishing
. I had tried this book once before but found it too confusing. But I'm enjoying my 2nd try. The names are still a bit much though.

I just finished rereading Wicked Deeds on a Winter's Night and I loved it the second time around again. An epic kind of love story with a lot of obstacles in the way of the HEA.

One of my favorite books (and heroes) that I am planning to read again soon. I need to get caught up with the series. I stopped around book 5 I think.

I feel like it's been forever since I've read a historical, and now I have an overwhelming urge to read one! I'm going to go with
since Gaelen Foley is one of my very favorite historical authors!
@ Angie: HR is like my first love. It usually draws me back if I haven't read any in a while.
@ Traci, IAD is definitely one of my top favorites.
