Where do you get these costumes? The ship whipping them up for you???? And about the nurse costume you had one earlier.....

*I cock my head to the side* What about my nurse outfit?
Well....I was rather under the weather the last time I saw it....just saying.* The communicator sounds before we get out the door*
If you're a good boy maybe I'll wear it for you again. *I stop and look back* That was fast... *I run over and sit down, hitting the button* It's Lacey whatcha got?
* Batman says that apparently there is a complex deep inside the planet. They refuse to answer any calls. There's a large source of power and heavy shielding. Riddick's ship's log says he was going down to investigate.Batman and Superman are the only two members of the JLA not already involved in something. They're contacting the Avengers to see if they can get back up.*
*I chew on my lower lip for a moment* I know that you guys don't get along with the X-Men...but they aren't doing anything and they will most likely be willing to help. Jean, tell her it's one of my friends, she'll talk the others into helping you.
* He tells you the word is already out to them but they're involved in a search for Magneto who seems to have formed another group planning to take over the galaxy...again.There is a Space Patrol ship coming but they're more like police than military and don't have much firepower. There's a Ranger ship 2 days out and on the way. *
*I look at you* Any wild cards you can pull up to help them?
Ask the Avengers to bring S.H.I.E.L.D. into it maybe. Can't think of anyone else right now...let me think. Tell Bat and Sup to be careful and that we'll get back with them if we can come up with anyone else to help...[making dinner, be on and off a while]
*I nod* Batman, time to call S.H.I.E.L.D. I'm sure they'll help and call on Spider-Girl and Superman's cousin Super-girl. Oh and the team CSI:Miami! They are itching to do something.
C.S.I.????? Well maybe Horatio Caine he's one of the few people I think might take on Superman and win...Oh tell them to see if they can reach Aloysius Pendergast. That guy is probably the most deadly guy on Earth...
*I giggle and look at you* Horatio can definitely kick Superman's butt by just looking at him. Oh the other CSI teams might be available too. You got all that Batty? And call Robin! Or Nighthawk or whatever he goes by! He and Batgirl can help too. Get your head out of you know where and ask them for help! If not, then I'll let Horatio take YOU down!
Well...at least your sense of humor's back. Once we get this Riddick thing cleared up....have you ever considered wearing glasses????

I just think you'd look....nice in glasses. * Mike sighs* Never mind, just a fantasy * He grins and grabs you up * You're enough of a fantasy no matter what you wear. * After an embrace and a kiss he sets you gently down* I know you're worried. We'll stay around the communicator if you want.
*I hold up a finger and disappear. I then return holding a pair of purple squared glasses* I have glasses...I just wear contacts ll the time except for when I sleep. I'm surprised you never noticed.
....Hummm. Sort of a hippie look. *Mike pulls her down on his lap and just holds her. *
* I put my glasses on the communication table in front of me and snuggle in your arms* You promised me a falling star, Mike...when do I get it?
Any time you want to go...I just thought you'd want to wait around here... If you want we can go now, I know where it landed now.
*I hop up* I can't just sit here..I have to do something or I'll worry. I know in my heart Riddick is safe but I'm still going to wonder and worry about him when he doesn't call back or whatever. And I would do the same with you if you ever left and disappeared me. *I look at you* Promise not to disappear on me?
...where would I go, and where are you going? You're already dressed in you explorer outfit?
*I sigh* I'm just saying, Mike...don't leave me and get lost and get me all worried. Okay?
...right, okay. * Mike looks a little confused...then puts his arm around her and heads for the trees*
*I lean my head against you as we walk out of then ship and head towards where the falling star had hit. I suddenly keep very quiet as we walk.*
* They walk in silence for a while* Want to talk about what's bothering you?
*I glance up at you then look back down* Just another nightmare I had...about you leaving me for I don't know why and I couldn't find you.
Well, don't worry about that. Short of death or kidnapping I have no plans to leave. * He smiles and kisses her again * Now, let's dig out your meteorite.[night]
*I nod and look around* Is this the place? Is this where it hit?
* We top a hill as Lacy is speaking and a crater a few feet across is before us. The meteorite is buried up in the center. With a few minutes work we unearth a heavy piece of shiny material....a glassy lump about the size of a large fist. *
*I pick it up and look it over* How pretty! I want to put this in our room, can we? It'll look nice with the other things we have decorating our room.
Sure....but we better check for what it's made of. Could radiation or poison or something. Let's be safe.
*I nod* Okay...lets get back and check it out. *I quickly bound up the side of the huge hole that it had made only to lose my balance and fall backwards. I squeal as I fall*
* Mike leaps forward to catch her*
*I land in your arms and look at you, startled for a moment. I then laugh* I guess I can't walk up the hill and carry this thing at the same time.
Let me take that.....Ummm, it is heavy. Wonder what it's made of? Wait let me wrap that just in case it is giving of radiation or something.* Mike takes a thick radiation bag from his pack and covers the meteorite*
Should be safe till we check it out now.
*I press my hand to my forehead* Wow...I feel dizzy all of a sudden. Like something was coming off of that thing. Definitely need to check it out.
Right....* Mike picks her up and begins to run back toward the ship.*
*I look at you* I could have walked...I'm okay, really, Mike. I just got a little dizzy is all.
We...can...make...it...more...quickly...this...way.
Mike...put me down. I can walk. You are straining yourself unnecessarily. Now put me down!
* They arrive at the clearing. Mike lifts her to his shoulders as she kicks...he slows to a walk* No, I was just spacing my breaths...I've told you I like carrying you.
* As they approach the ship Mike sets her at the ramp to the door and then go inside. It takes little time to drop the meteorite into the analyzer.*
*I stick my tongue out at purr back then follow behind you. I don't go into the analyzer room up wait outside, not acting to get too close to the meteorite in case it got me dizzy again. I wait until you come out* Is it in? Has it started? what does it say?
Well....there's some radiation. It doesn't look high....Hang on....
* Mike looks at the screen for several seconds.*
It's having trouble identifying one of the elements. I'm sending a sample for chemical interaction test.
Is it safe for me to be near? Maybe that is the element that made me dizzy...I almost couldn't think...couldn't hear the animals either. Eek don't tell me we've found my kryptonite.
Actually....I think it may be, humanoid kryptonite. Looks like when it comes in contact with....* Mike takes a few seconds looking at results again * Well, almost any humanoid species it immediately begins to dissolve and pass through the skin.* Mike looks a little concerned but sounds normal.*
Here, let me get a blood sample..
* Mike takes a small blood sample from Lacy...then looks relieved.*
It's okay. Only a trace. Your kidneys will process it out quickly...now, where did it come from I wonder.
*I look at the results the at you* This is just a small piece what if there is more floating in space, around our planet? What if it was a planet that exploded and changed due to the explosion?
Hard to say... I'll check the warn system. anything large enough to be a danger...or any kind of ship would have caused an alert. This was too small, but it might have been followed down and picked up by the system as it came in.
*I shudder when I look at it and move out of the room, leaning back against the wall* Can't we destroy it? It's horrible! It's ...it's alien and it seems to try and talk to me. Tor hears it too. I bet the other animals do too and they don't like it either.
There's a psychic component???? It doesn't....I don't feel it on my shield. What's it saying? Is it dangerous?* Mike shuts the "stone" into a vacuum chamber and seals it in. *
I don't think it's dangerous yet...and what it is saying is garbled. But I have feeling that once it knows we can hear it, it'll start talking clearer, or in our language. It might be talking in an alien language since it thinks it is surrounded by aliens or I don't know....all I know is its really creeping me out. *I shudder and snuggle close to you without looking at the meteorite*
