Ah, sweet Miss CaroB, you don't need to flatter me. I'm yours already.
I hate to complain here...but I only asked for 1 thing for Chrtstmas from Santa this year, and he di NOT deliver :) I am soooooo distraught:( Mr Elf? why couldn't I have my Christmas present? it's not like I asked for something unattainable:(

Midi, that happened to me when the author had removed their book from Amazon after I bought it from them, so could no longer search. ... Or maybe the publisher removed it... But you get what I mean

neither's the case with this one,CaroB. I see the book on amazon but when i want to read it with the cloud reader, it won't show up after a search!

That was happening to me last night, took me about an hour to get it. The manage your kindle page was just being silly and slow in loading all the books.

by release date do you mean the year or the exact day?
and what do you mean by place ? a place that is mentioned in the lyrics matches a place in the book?
Hey Elishia, am on the road at the comment on our way home at the end of our family holidays. I'll make necessary changes as soon as I can.
ShoSho, the year of publication (for your book) needs to match the song release year (we provide this beside the song title and artist). As for place, it could be Jailhouse Rock so some party of the book could take place in a jail, or Hotel California song, the book would need to be set in California. Not all songs will have a place setting, but the year will always count. Does that help?

Do you know why I asked? I asked because although this category has the most points , it's really easy to find , so I thought I'm wrong.
You're right, its the easiest to find thanks to the GR bookshelves. I guess it depends how many books you might have readily available from any particular year that you'll want to read quickly. Its something I'll mention to Mr Elf. A might need to make some changes for round 3, but it will be interesting to see how the points will be played out.
Btw, I just noticed that Mr Elf has posted a sneak peek at the list of choices for this week's song.

We're now half an hour away from home, after more than 14hrs on the road. Completely. Knackered. The kids have all been troopers, I'm thankful I haven't killed my husband, and I'm looking to curling up in bed with a good book. *groans* So tired. Can someone remind me not to go on a driving holiday again, please?
CaroB, I feel you about driving holidays. The girls and I are driving home today. At least our trip is only about 4 hours :)

CaroB....while I agree driving is tiring......ANY travel is tiring.....so...just take a breather...sit down with a good book...and relax :)
