message 1101: by Jennifer H (new)

Jennifer H I do believe the video was filmed in Paris (been a while since I've been there). If I'm right does Paris work for the setting points?

message 1102: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Thanks ladies.

Also I'm assuming that either Truly, Madly or Deeply is fine for title?

yes :)

message 1104: by D.G. (last edited Feb 22, 2013 05:16AM) (new)

D.G. What about the covers? Does a mountain, sea or sky count get points? From this line:

I want to stand with you on a mountain
I want to bathe with you in the sea
I want to live like this forever
Until the sky falls down on me

message 1107: by Lauren (new)

Lauren (laurenjberman) Two questions for cover:

1. A cover with a garden - the group's name is Savage Garden?

2. A cover that features the sky prominently - the lyrics are:

Until the sky falls down on me

And when the stars are shining
brightly in the velvet sky

Mary X (marymaryalwayscontrary) | 752 comments Does a reunion work for plot points? The book I am thinking of has high school sweethearts reuniting at their high school reunion.

yes, a second chance at love works for plot

message 1114: by D.G. (new)

D.G. Does the second chance have the involve a romance? Could it be a daughter and father reuniting after a estrangement?

Can it be with a different partner? Her husband died but his best friend is in love with her and came back because she's had a baby (and the friend asked him to look after them).

No, the second chance doesn't have to have a romance aspect, but it does have to be between two main characters, just not necessarily hero and heroine

Elishia, has his best friend been in love with her all along? If he missed his first chance to go for her, then I would say it counted as his second chance... but if it's a pretty new love interest or the feelings are only just developing, then I'm not too sure...

message 1118: by Elishia (new)

Elishia | 2620 comments Yes he saw her first but was shy but couldn't do anything once his friend got with her

message 1119: by Manvir (new)

Manvir (lucyheartfilia) Since the music video kept showing kissing couples would that work for cover points?

message 1120: by Manvir (new)

Manvir (lucyheartfilia) I just thought of this but could one lover searching for the other work for plot since that was what the music video was all about?

Yes, if they meet first and are then separated.

Gisela (chicadorlando) | 4022 comments Manvir wrote: "Since the music video kept showing kissing couples would that work for cover points?"

It's a really minor part of the video, so no.

message 1123: by Manvir (new)

Manvir (lucyheartfilia) One last question then I promise to run along and read lol. Does having the Eiffel Tower on the cover work for cover points?

No, but it would work for setting if the story was based in Paris, which is ultimately more points.

message 1129: by ~Megan~ (new)

~Megan~ (megadee) Would I get cover points for this?

The Savage Heart by Diana Palmer

Also, Savage being in the title of the book wouldn't get me any points, right?

message 1130: by Lisa Kay, Moderator (new)

Lisa Kay (lisakayalicemaria) | 20787 comments Yes, Elishia, I've read that one; it would count. ☺
