I always give myself the hardest time when I have to pick out colors for a project. I don't know why. I taught myself how to crochet/knit (thank you youtube!) a couple years ago and went hog crazy for a year straight. Then burned myself out :(
I have a couple totes full of yarn and a scarf that is 3/4 of the way done...then I found this book club and unless I start liking audio books, it's either needlework or reading. ;)

That's a good one!

I still don't get how you guys can read & have a crafting hobby...I get home from work and most times I am ready to crash by 8:30!

Suzanne - the socks are so pretty, and look so comfortable!

@Jmom: when I'm not reading I'm crocheting, but I don't like making the same thing twice. No more of this monkey in the near future (the sewing part on the face was also very challenging, I rather just crochet).

Nice change as my latest project were neck warmers/hat sets.

No it takes me forever as 1) I do not spend too much time knitting. 2) I always have 2 projects going. One for both places in my house I usually knit.
Which reminds me... Finally got around joining Ravelry. I am under nyctale, as always.

good idea!

I started a couple of knitting projects (I'm a complete newbie) and haven't finished any of them...

That is beautiful. It looks like tatting on the edges.
