9:34 AM. Just woke up because we stayed up until one playing Monopoly on the Wii. Oops. Sounds like we might have a little bit of a busy day, or at least some errands we need to run. Need coffee and breakfast first, though...lol

It's a compliment! :-)12:17 p.m. EST Wow, washed my hair and sat outside and within about a half hour my hair was DRY... Holy UV power, Batman! If I stay inside, it takes HOURS for all this hair to dry... pretty cool.
Aw, I know but she brings me everything and its quite gross sometimes!
1:24 p.m. EST Perpetually amazed that people seem to be more willing to accept rumors and lies than to take the time to find out if it's truth or not. Laziness? Malice? Spite? I have no idea. I just know that I hear all kinds of horrible things about myself and things I've done from people I've never met or interacted with... ?? WTF. Faith in humanity lost again...

1:16 PM. Since Mark took the day off, we just got my car inspected and are having lunch together. After lunch, we are going to run another errand. Hope to get some reading done later, but am enjoying time with The Boy.
It is 2:18pm on Friday and I am trying to mess with people on GR to pass the time until I can leave work. I am so ready to go!
4:19 p.m. Happy with the progress I'm making....and hoping to make even more tonight.
It is 5:34pm, I rolled the dice and the space says the poster above me must go back 3 steps...So much for that progress Holly...
Runs off to cause trouble somewhere else.

8:37 PM. Mark and I went to Half-Price Books just because. He asked me if I found anything I wanted, and I said yes, but I didn't want to get it because it was expensive. He had me show him the book, and said it would be only 18 dollars with their Memorial Day Sale, and since I haven't bought a newly released book in over a year, he bought me NOS4A2!!!!!!!! He is so sweet!!!!!!!! Going to keep reading Horns so I can start my new book!!! :)

12:15 a.m. EST WHOA! A small spider just went soaring past my nose... I have no idea how it did it, 'cause my head was just there and there was no web, but ... wow. It was really booking...
Anyway, spent all afternoon and evening sleeping. Now to clear out my e-mail and do some reading.
8:47 est - getting ready to head out for breakfast and then out to a horse pasture to give them some treats.

10:34 AM. Already up, showered, hair dried, cereal eaten, and now just to pack a quick bag to go to the golf tournament. Of course, I am bringing Horns with me! Maybe I can convince Mark to let me find a shady spot to read and let him walk around for a while. Sometimes it gets a little boring, and Mark knows golf isn't "my thing." Haha!! Happy Saturday, my friends!!

Hey, Kathryn; sitting on a golf course in a spot of shade and reading sounds like a lovely day to me! Maybe after he's done with golf you can go and sit in the lounge and have a drink and read some more... LOL Dmitry and I always carry books, even out to dinner, and sit and read and chat while we eat.2:58 p.m. EST Well, it's official. After damn near 4 years of fighting, the SSA has definitely announced I am NOT to receive disability, but I'm welcome to file a civil suit if I want to waste some more time... Apparently there are dozens of employers lined up fighting over people like me who can't stand up for longer than 10 minutes, need to take at least two 20-minute naps a day, can't lift anything over my head, or anything over 5 lbs anyway, can't use my right arm to type or do anything, can't climb stairs, can't be exposed to undue stress or pressure... Yeah, I know I see dozens of ads in the paper every single DAY for that sort of job... :-/ Guess I'll have to end up raising my editing fees a bit more to make up the difference... this SUCKS... *bangs head against wall*
Katy, I can sympathize. I ended up having to get a lawyer (who worked on contingency) and that's how I was finally successful. Got a nice lump sum in back payments, too. The system really sucks.
6:41pm, watching the Reds beat the Cubs. Hub and I got haircuts today, otherwise a quiet day. I'm tired of waiting for books to come in at the library. I've been waiting for NOS4A2 forever!!!

Terri, I HAD a lawyer. I apparently ended up with the incompetent one, 'cause this case should have been an easy win. Grrrr.8:07 p.m. EST Just finished 14 and it was AMAZING!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!! Now about ready to start reading a new book... I'm on a roll baby!
7:07PM Just finished dinner, I made us French toast, bacon, and hash browns. I love breakfast for dinner. My wife went out with her mom for a bit today and the kids took a nap at the same time. It was awesome and I got some good reading in. Looking forward to spending time with my wife tonight. Hope everyone has a great night.

Chris, I didn't know what to expect, the synopsis is sort of vague, but it was such a wonderful surprise! I hope lots of people read it... :-)
8:11 PM. Forgot to bring my book into the golf tournament, but it was alright. We walked and walked, and it rained some. We are now at my uncle's house for the night. Missing my babies Gizmo and Pepper. My dad said Gizmo was crying when he checked on them. :/ She has a hard time being away from me. Have a cup of delicious coffee, so I am going to kick back and read Horns.

8:15 PM and I'm just relaxing in bed. I don't feel good:( I have about 150 pages of my book left so hopefully I'll finish it tonight.

9:52 PM. So tired I can't concentrate on Horns. Hoped three cups of coffee would help, but that has only made me relaxed for some reason. Think I am going to call it an early Saturday night. Well, after a shower to get the sunscreen and sweat off of me. LolKaty, on the rare occasion I am buy myself at a restaurant, I ALWAYS bring a book. Mark doesn't read much, which is a shame, but at least I do. :) hehe
Chuck, at least you didn't say you were going outside to bite people. Haha
I bring my books with me everywhere I go. I get weird looks from people but at least I'm prepared :)
Ah, poor Gizmo! My Erasmus is like that; he HATES when I leave the house. Last time I was gone for more than a couple hours (in the hospital for three days) he worried himself sick.1:41 a.m. EST Terovolas was another ringing success! Let's go for another and see if I can keep up the streak!

At least I have some decent books. I'm never without a book on the rare occasions I go out. Need to feed that jones!

3:25AM Terri, I hope your leg feels better. It sucks not being able to sleep. Well I'm back in bed and going to read a bit to help me go back to sleep.
I too always have a book, love the Kindle app for my phone. I can read anywhere.

11:37am ET. Chilling on the computer and enjoying my books, now that mother is gone. I am hoping someone else cooks out this long weekend, so I can get a break.Started Vampire Academy last night. It is okay so far, like a 3-star read. If it doesn't get better soon, it will sit next to A Tale of Two Cities collecting dust.
