7:02PM Had a great workout, it was cardio recovery. Now I am all warm and weak LOL. Majorly relaxed. I am reading more of Whispers. It is a fantastic read.

9:18 p.m. and exhausted. Actually made it to work today on just a few hours sleep. It should only take my body a few days to make the adjustment from second to first. Attempting to read a little and go to bed. That should just about get me where I want to be. "Normal hours" - sleep at night and work during the day.

Holly | 1184 comments 9:42 p.m. Busy day today..glad to be relaxing right now. Listening to the rain and enjoying the nice, cool breeze. I think I just heard thunder....

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 2:52 a.m. EST I have gobs of reading to do, didn't think that the two latest Vine books were both at the end of a series and now I have lots of reading to do to have those done in time... O.o So ... reading machine, that's me... I sure hope these series are good so I didn't just spend a bunch of money for nothing, but if they really suck I can always ask for my money back...

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 8:57 AM. Just finished eating a bowl of Cheerios for breakfast, and now I am going to read and get closer to finishing Under the Dome. Hoping it rains today, too. Also, my sweet boy doesn't have patients this weekend, so we get to spend the weekend together. Happy Friday!

Holly | 1184 comments 1:01 p.m. Really want to go to the library today....

message 4263: by Katy (new)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 2:15 p.m. EST Just finished my 2nd book of the day, but this third one isn't going to be finished today, 'cause this tome is over 600 pages... O.O Anyway, reading like a demon to try to finish these last two required Amazon books (they moved everything prior to January into an 'optional review' file), but they're both at the ends of series, so before I can read that final book I have to read the 6 books preceding it in the series...

So, off I go...

message 4264: by Holly (new)

1:36PM Wow NOS4A2 is awesome. I am loving it. I really did enjoy Heart Shaped Box, so this should not be surprising to me. He is an excellent author like his Dad.

Holly I always enjoyed the Library, one of my fonder memories or growing up. Now I just buy buy buy. LOL

Katy good luck with all the reading you have to do. At least it is a great experience.

message 4266: by Holly (new)

Holly | 1184 comments Lol Janie. I have no idea when I'll be able to buy again for awhile, so the library is the next best thing!!

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 2:52 p.m. EST I had contacted them asking how they expected any of us to do this and the idiots misunderstood what I was asking and removed all the books from my review file! GAH!! I still have to freakin' read and review them, but now they won't count... *sigh*

LOL Holly I totally understand that. I go into withdrawals if I don't get to the UBS at least once a week whether I buy or not. I am convinced it is a sickness. LOL

message 4270: by Holly (new)

Holly | 1184 comments Lol I know....I always go to look at the books when I'm at the store....even if I can't buy one.

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments Lee, the sea bass (which I love) or the salmon! It all sounds delicious, so I can see why you were having a hard time choosing. :)

5:37PM Just had dinner, we had hamburgers and some baked seasoned fries. Yummy! Cleaned up the kitchen, read some more NOS4A2, now ready to switch back to Whispers. Gonna be working out in about an hour I think, then I will jump back on here and read some more.

It is a lot to choose from Lee, but I would go with Kathryn and go with the salmon or the bass. I love fish though. I love most seafood I think.

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 7:16 PM. I went to store while Mark took a nap and got us a frozen pizza for dinner. I even snuck off to the bookstore, hehe....now, while the pizza is in the oven, I am going to get back to Under the Dome. I only have about 160 pages left!

10:34AM Well Good Morning to all my GR friends. I trust everyone had a good nights rest, well besides Kathryn apparently UTD held her captive well past her bedtime! Hehe (Glad you finished Kathryn). I am sitting here in the library, about to get a cup of tea and enjoy a quiet morning. Kay had to march in a parade today. Derek, my son still asleep. Hub is at work. Gonna dig into NOS4A2 this morning. I have really been enjoying my library now since hub put the light fixture in. YAY. But now he says it is lonely in the den. *sigh* LOL

Chris Happy Birthday to your wife!

Kathryn, congratulations on finishing UTD, it is a huge task, I'm glad you enjoyed it.

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

1:00 p.m. And things never seem to work out the way you want them to. I had planned on getting up early this morning so I could have a couple of hours undisturbed reading time. Wrong! I slept in until 9:30 and had to go and junk a car. Then my daughter had to stop at the store on the way home, so I just now got back. Have to be at granddaughter's birthday party in an hour, which I wouldn't miss for anything. Have to be somewhere else at 4:30, so reading will wait until tonight I guess. It's really OK. Just going with the flow today and grateful to be sucking free air another day.

1:30PM I am actually waiting on the mail this fine afternoon, because I suspect there may a book or maybe 2 deposited in my mailbox! We ordered 6 from Amazon, the first of them having arrived yesterday. I love anticipating the arrival of new books! Makes me excited and happy!

Cindy sorry your day is rushed today. I think when we are busy it is just God's way of saying, "You are alive, this is life, anjoy it!"

8:36PM Had a great work out, just got out of the shower. Now enjoying some coffee, and gonna settle back in to whispers if I ever get off GR. LOL

message 4295: by Katy (new)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Janie, any day a book arrives in the mail is a great day!

Lucy, my husband has been watching The Game of Thrones on NetFlix. I actually have the book, so I suppose I'll have to try to read it before too much time elapses.

11:56 p.m. EST Not feeling too well tonight, but I fixed some Hamburger Helper and ate and hopefully that will help. Or it might make things worse. I hope it doesn't make things worse.

My computer wants to restart in 5 minutes, so I better close everything up and let it... *sigh*

11:02PM totally engrossed in Whispers right now. I can see why I liked this book so much the first time I read. I hate when a lot of time has lapsed and I don't remember a thing about a book I read. I guess that is why I tend to do rereads. LOL

message 4297: by [deleted user] (new)

12:02 a.m. And I have made a little progress with my Joe Hill read. Gonna put that one down and try to work on The Talisman for a bit. Had a great time at granddaughter's birthday party today. Will probably read for another hour or so and then call it a night.

message 4298: by Katy (new)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Janie, I can't remember much about a book even right after I read it; my memory is SOO bad. But on the other hand I can re-read a mystery novel and be just as surprised by the denouement the 2nd time, so *shrug* There are advantages...

1:17 a.m. EST Just finished reading a fun little short story that one of the authors with whom I wrote featuring all of those of us who support him - beta readers, editors, cheerleaders. It was a real hoot. I was an evil witch who turned another guy into a zombie! MAUAHAHA! Loved it... LOL Almost through with my e-mail and then need to finish this tome...
