10:15PM Sitting here with Grand blessing, was unexpected to have him since we have Kay's banquet tomorrow. Trying to figure out if he will be going home tomorrow before the banquet. We shall see. I am presently working on finishing Whispers up. Wanna try and get it done tonight, but I am doubting it.

haha Janie - I know exactly what you mean! I have a post office box and I normally only check it every couple of days but when I know there are books on the way I will check it every morning. It's the best feeling when there's something there but sooooo disappointing when there's nothing lol!

1.59pm Just finished lunch - ducked out quickly to grab some groceries so that I can head straight home after work. Couldn't decide between making pork tacos or chicken cacciatore so got ingredients for both! I'm loving the new Jamie's 15 Minute Meals cookbook - awesome tasting food that is really quick to prepare. I have to admit, I think he's dreaming if he thinks that most people can make the meals in 15 minutes, but they are pretty quick :)

12:53 p.m. EST Had a terrible time sleeping over the last day, despite feeling very tired. I finally managed to drug myself enough to go to sleep about 5 a.m. after trying since 2... Up about half an hour now, and will be back to editing once I finish my e-mail... a never-ending battle, that!

6:55pm found another book on my doorstep when I got home today! went to the library and got 5 new books from there too. going to settle down with one of them with a cup of coffee and some chocolate.

2:46PM Just went through the first round of storms and they weren't so bad. Sposed get this on and off till 5:00PM and then later in evening we are sposed to get some scattered storms as well.

Finished Whispers and got my review done. Was a great book! Yay and it is done before Kay's banquet because Aeverie let me read while it was raining. He had his Mama's tablet to keep him busy. Sure do hope Glass comes today.

7:02AM Kay just left for school. Wow did not get back on GR last night after we got back from Kay's banquet. The fajita's were awesome! It was late though when we got home, but I still had my workout when I got home. I kicked it's butt! WOOT. So now I have some quiet, really enjoying it. I love this time of morning if I am not to sleepy. Hub stayed home today, thank God he has sick days to use. So gonna start my next book, prolly gonna be XO. Good morning my GR friends.

12:01pm. Been off GR for a few days, now trying to catch up. Son back in hospital, things not going well so I've been really stressed. Having trouble even finding comfort in reading. 1:08PM Just finished making a sticker book with grand baby. He loves stickers, so I thought rather than buying a sticker book we would make one for him. So he has his first stickers in there which are actually Toy Story name tags for Christmas, so I let him have those lol. We got them after Christmas for next to nothing, I think a quarter, and I never ended up putting them with the Christmas stuff, we can always get more name tags.

Terri I am so sorry to hear about your son. I am keeping y'all in my prayers. Sorry you are so stressed out, but it is so understandable. I could not imagine having to go through that. ((((HUGS))))

Teri, I am also very sorry to hear these turn of events. I feel so helpless and wish I could at least brighten your day a bit. I hope everything works out, or at least comes to a point that the stress isn't so horrible to manage.

Jordan, I hope you feel better soon. It is no fun to be sick, but if you have to be sick, your bed with a book is the way to do it. Get some rest and take it easy. You'll be back to normal in no time.

4:40 p.m. EST Finally up after sleeping all day, but I guess I needed it. Hubby had to take several of his coworkers up to the immigration office in Atlanta today, so that was his work day... (I guess there are advantages to having your boss being an immigrant and constantly bringing in his family from India for slave labor and if are the one who is able to drive... O.o) I was at the 69 percent point in editing when I knocked off this morning, so should be able to kick out the rest of it tonight. I hope! :-)

8:01 p.m. EST Just finished editing Tracy Sharp's book, and wow, it's going to be awesome! It seems to be horror or at the very least dark urban fantasy, apocalyptic, dangerous... wow. There are zombies and demons and minions of hell and vigilantism and people selling their souls ... I can't even explain, but it was really awesome. I'll be sure to let y'all know when it's out!

Now I can settle in and read Craving... I talked to the author the other day and she said there's lot of clues in it for the upcoming books, so I'll need to pay attention! Unfortunately the plot lines of this one and Tracy's book keep blurring together for me... so I'll probably re-read this when i pick up the next book in the series.

8:44PM Grand baby went home about 7:15PM, did my work out, had my shower, and now here I am. Still no book in the mail. It is the last one out of the 6 that we ordered. I am biting at the bit to get it. Our UBS is having a 20% off sale this memorial day weekend, which is awesome. Guess where this chick is going! hehe

10:07 AM. Well, it's only 10 AM, and I've already learned a very valuable lesson about myself: Don't go to the grocery store until you've had breakfast. I had to get milk so I could eat breakfast, and I knew I should have gone last night when we were out. Apparently, when I was also picking up some meat for dinner, I picked up a turkey ham, instead of a ham...Oy...I got home and realized it, but I'm not taking it back. We'll just have to hope it is good. LOL.

I finished My Sweet Audrina last night, and boy, what a crazy book. I need to write my review on it this morning, which is what I am going to do after this post. I'm also excited because Janie and I are going to read Horns by Joe Hill together. Kind of an impromptu buddy read, but for some reason, I really want to read it right now, and..Janie is getting pretty good at multitasking books. Hehe! :)

I feel like I can think again since I just ate a bowl of cereal. Not kidding. :)

Janie, we are going to Fort Worth Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning to go to the Colonial golf tournament. We found out yesterday my aunt needs us to house sit her 4 dogs, 2 cats, and 2 bunnies. Is Randy off on Monday for Memorial Day?

3:50 a.m. EST Had a hard time making myself stop reading this book L: A Novel History. It's... chilling. Fascinating. And eerily plausible. Brrr. But am feeling a bit sleepy, so decided to clear out e-mail and then take a nap. Oh, and coax the baby spider off my arm and off the bed... LOL Anyway, any fans of Game of Thrones who both read the books and watched the TV show? Hubby is watching the show and it looks interesting; I have the first book in the series, am wondering if the show follows the books well?
