Tim Arnot - Flick Carter #1: FREED!

So if Janet's privacy is set to 'only friends', Patti can see that she's liked my page because she's a friend, but I can't because I'm not. So Facebook is basically saying "someone likes you but we're not going to tell you who"
As far as I can tell.

It seems this privacy setting on FB is a bit of a minefield - it's certainly a PITA!!
Janet, if you want to check, on your wall under your cover pic, there's a list - Timeline, About, Photos, Friends and More. Put your mouse on More, and you should see a drop down. Click on Likes. You'll see a grid of the pages you've liked. At the top right is a little pencil button. This lets you see and edit the privacy settings.

Or I could just sulk.

Only if you try and figure out why it's not showing stuff you think it should...

I have 40 Likes on my page, but it only shows 31 of them.

And it just gets awesomer!
As a special bonus prize, whoever reports the most typos will appear as a character in book 2 (although I can't guarantee you'll survive...)

WANTED now has BOOK EXTRAS. Yay!
You can select Book Extras and get background info on Characters & People, Organizations, Settings & Places, Notes for Parents.
Still no X-Ray though.

I've been a member of Shelfari for years, but I never really progressed with it, always wondered what the point of it was.
If I ever get any spare time...

Unless you need to hit a sales threshold or sommat to trigger it. In which case, BUY MY BOOK!!!!!

She got edited out between Version 5 and Version 9!"
Got to hand it to Ignite, she's good!

Holding out for something bigger in book 2, you reckon? Could be... ;)

Now for iBooks... Despite all the nice things I've said about them, they are still denying that I exist and have a valid EIN tax code...
Sassen Frassen Rassen....

Also, I used D2D and emailed the form. Do you need to send additional paperwork to Apple?

D2D: I had some printer problems and only managed to get the form scanned yesterday. So I've only just emailed it off.
iTunes just requires you to enter your legal entity name and EIN on their signup page. They then go and "validate" it, which in my case means 3 days later I get an email saying "record not found". I keep retrying, since my guess is that Apple is querying the IRS server at the far end of the universe, and even that must surely get updated someday...
In theory, Apple's is the best, most up to date way of doing it. But in practice it's by far the worst, since they don't give you any account access while validation is pending.

I just looked on Kobo's site, and WANTED is currently ranked #86 out of 186 in Fiction -> Young Adult -> Dystopia. Which puts it in the top half, and on page 9 of 19 in their list. Fine. But the thing is, I haven't sold a single book on Kobo, and the list is sorted by "Bestsellers". So how did it get ranked so high?

What's this? You say, but haven't you already read it like, fifty times? Well yes that's true (although I think it's only forty-seven times), but this time I'm reading it out loud. Into a microphone. With a recording device on the other end.
That's right, Wanted is coming to audio!
More details when I get my voice back. ;)

But I'm going to retitle the book "Bugger. I'll read that bit again!"
Although I have to warn you: I might have a face for radio, but I've got a voice for silent movies!

How useless is that? Here's a list of people that like your page except some we missed out, just so you can look like an idiot!
