I've been pondering the idea of chapter titles. I keep doing it, although I also keep deciding against, at least in the ebook version I have anyway. But I'm working on readying the 2nd edition paperback (it's a bit sooner than I'd prefer, but I've got a decent selling opportunity in October, and it'd be nice to have the new cover etc ready for that, even if book 2 won't be out yet.)
I'd be interested in your opinions, either as readers or writers - to title or not to title...
Anyhow, I sneak peaked my working titles on my blog - http://www.tim-arnot.com/?p=603

Cos they're the tops...

How old? Christmas special. Like the sound of that! Do you get the prize for the first mention of the season?

A thief crept about, his heart filled with malice
The silver, locked up in the chancery store
Next morn when they looked, it would be there no more.
The gold, it was gone, the silver and more
A big chest of money to give to the poor
But that isn't all, for our thief, he was shoddy
And left in his wake, all bloody, a body
Jessica's away doing her 'princess thing',
The Kingsmen are busy guarding their king
Just Socko is left to figure it out
With Corporal Dan, will they do it? No doubt!

'Being a “Hunger Games” fan made me decide to read and review this book. At first I thought that this is just a mock-up of the Hunger Games because of its post-apocalyptic storyline but then when I read the book every turn of the page proved me wrong. All were delivered differently, storyline, characters, themes and style. I love the way the author did the world-building which was expertly done that makes the story more believable. There may be some scenes that the book could go on without. But all in all this is a great read and I can’t wait to read the sequel. I’ll definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves post-apocalyptic stories that would keep you on edge.'
:D

Going to have to do a set visit to check a few things out. The new location? Blenheim Palace!

If the weather's lousy you could just watch Branagh's Hamlet. If memory serves all of the exteriors were shot at Blenheim Palace and its a magnificent piece of epic cinema to boot.

23rd Century England. No oil. No electricity. The few remaining people get by as best they can, improvising and living off the land, or scavenging through long-derelict cities for scraps and trinkets.
When Sixteen year old Flick Carter saves the life of an injured Scav, she discovers he has secrets. Secrets the authorities want badly. But someone else wants them too, and they will will stop at nothing, not even murder.
For Flick, the small town of Faringdon is suddenly not safe. Accused of murder, and with no one left she can trust, she must flee for her life.

Obviously I need to hone my blurb writing skills.

"I've managed to pull some strings, Miss Carter. I'm not entirely without influence in this town..." Lt. Jessica Dixon (HUNTED, Flick Carter #2)

Flick Carter is just an ordinary sixteen year old in a ruined 23rd Century England. When a boy she saved from a plane crash turns out to be wanted by the law, everyone she knows is put in danger, and she finds herself on the run and wanted for murder…

Is it Sir Menzies Campbell?

You can tell if you have the latest version because it has the date code 20130903 on the copyright page (and the new cover, & chapter titles).
