"Reading Resolutions" Challenge [ENDED: 12/31/11]
Mary wrote: "OK just updated my OP which is post 82. I could have sworn that I updated before but either I didn't or I did and never hit the edit button. But I'm updated now."No worries, Mary. :) Thanks for updating, either way.
Charlotte, I've heard a lot of positive things about that series, but have never read it. Glad you're enjoying it!
I love the In Deaths but I'm getting them from the library so I'm not reading them in order. Doesn't seem to matter though, still love Roarke (dreamy Irish billionaire for those of you who haven't read In Death series).
He was very conflicted - he obviously fell for Eve straightaway but couldn't understand why.I sat here grinning like a fool when all he did was fix the heater in her car.
He was so sweet with the button and he was honest that he had no intention of giving it back to her.So far he hasn't given her gloves - but he did comment that she needed them (and she said she'd just loose them).
Ahh, he must give her gloves then later on in the series, several times I think, across a couple of books.
Question-Would a paranormal Cozy mystery count? Or would it count towards the 8 non PNR/UF books. I'm talking about Larcency and Lace-Annette Blair -there are ghosts and the heroine gets psycic visions when she touches vintage clothing and her Aunt is a witch.I'm hitting close to my 8 non-paranormal books so that's why I'm asking.
I used book 1
for one of my categories and just assumed since it was a paranormal-mystery it wouldn't be one of the eight. Steph will have to let us know if that's a problem. Hey, did we mention what a great moderator you are and such a clever challenge hostess? Not sucking up at all, LOL
LOL, Daffodil! Of course those are fine. Anything with para-features is fine and does not fall under the 8 nons. :)
yay thank you! I already have 5 non-paranormals so I was hoping this would not be in the 8 since it isn't a romance or urban fantasy.

I just did an update. I'm almost done. In fact, I probably have the friends list category done but I haven't taken the time to look up some recent reads to see if they have them on any of their lists. I'll probaby do that soon since I've almost filled the other sections.
Re-arranged things a little bit - didn't realise I'd read so much this year that fitted the catergories!Have updated original post(page 2 - message #64) - 11/24

I'm very, very tempted to join this challenge even though I swore I wouldn't join another yearly challenge & I have less than 9 months to finish this one. Crap. *Lethal sits on hands*
Thanks for that, AH. ☺ The thing is, the reason why I feel this almost uncontrollable urge to join this challenge is because I want to see if I can finish it by Dec 31st. It would defeat the point if I backdated, ya know? *sigh* I think I'll keep my hands to myself. I don't want to bite off more than I can chew.
Could just backdate and play the "I really thought I'd joined this one at the beginning of the year ... whoops! time to rectify that." And, finish by 31 Dec. >;)
LOL!Lethal they are real easy categories to fill, so I'm sure it wouldn't be a problem with cross challenging etc :)
Quite a few of us have finished or nearly and its only April.
