What Members Thought
I really liked this book. I thought it was tender and I vividly remember the anxiety that steals your breath with those first moments of mix tapes and hand holding. Yeah, there are some problems with this book and the criticisms are valid. But it rings so true and earnest to me, I would recommend this over and over. (I have. I will continue to.)
Gosh this was such a darn cute book! The first one I read by the author and I really like her writing! I almost stopped reading it because of a few f words in the first few pages (but after that they were few and far between), but glad I did not because it was such a sweet story of teenage romance - it brought me back to memories of when boys made my knees week and my thoughts were obsessive over one guy (; Ahhh memories.
I loved this book! There is a lot of swearing, but it goes along with the subplot of Eleanor being bullied. All of the characters are really developed, even the very minor ones, which is so fun. I loved how she described Park's parents. The author really captures being a teenager in love, and I actually loved what she did with the ending, which was unexpected. Love love love!

Ugh. How could it just end like that?? I feel so lost now.. No closure whatsoever. This was such a sweet book. The writing was superb. I will definitely read more by this author. I just wish there was a more detailed ending. Or at least an epilogue.
