Discussion was about Ian's eyes, how they emote so many feelings. Yes, he may..."
I've been thinking about James McAvoy lately... I saw a pic of Mr. Tumnus and remembered how I fell in love with McAvoy in his Mr. Tumnus guise in the film. And Matthew Macfadyen -- oh my. SUCH and expressive face and eyes! But I could never see Matthew play a badboy. Only the sweet tortured soul. He could play the twins and I'd be a happy camper... Same with James McAvoy. Niether are as purty as Ian Somerhalder but both are amazing actors with such talent and expressive blue eyes/dark hair.

Oh, I've heard good things about that! Just put it on my TBR pile...

Hi, Charlene! Welcome to the group! Glad you found your way over here -- pull up a chair, kick your shoes off, have a drink of fresh squeezed lemonade and some keylime pie. It's always summer here!

Thank you, E!!!!! Thank you for creating Michel (and Julien, too) and t..."
Ian emotes so well. His eyes... he seems to be able to express so much with just his eyes. I think it must be the years modelling from such a young age. It's all in the eyes and he has such beautiful eyes and a perfect face, square jaw, dark arched brows...
Yes, I was a gonner when I saw that pic and the muse struck. I saw a priest in vestments in a medieval church being killed and that was the start of Dominion.

I read about FSOG in a news article and went to Amazon and bought it and only then did I start to read reviews. But I was shocked to see how many people were freaking out about it both ways -- either it was the best book ever or it was the end of civilization itself.
It's hard as an author to read bad reviews. Reviews are so subjective that one person can feel ecstatic about your book and the next can think it's not fit for the trashcan... Very confusing.
They (whoever they are) say not to read your own reviews. Probably sage advice but advice only the seasoned author can follow.

How does that make you respond as a reader -- when your friends or people on the groups you frequent rave about a book and you pick it up and then it falls flat for you? Do you feel a bit cheated? Confused about why other people like it?
I ask, of course, because as an author, I'm interested in publicity for my books and how reader reviews affect sales. When there's a lot of excitement about a book from readers, it can be good for an author, of course, but it can also be a double-edged sword. It gets readers to take a chance on your book but can also miff some readers who just don't get it.
If you read the reviews for FSOG some people were just so damn mad and resentful about all the positive reviews for it from readers.

Ah, but that's where I can happily disagree with ..."
Keeping fingers, eyes, toes and legs crossed!

I'm so mean to both brothers. Julien certainly has suffered a lot. But as Nietzsche wrote, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger. These brothers are very strong in some ways, but weak in others -- especially when it comes to Eve.
You want Soren to die a painful horrible death??? ;) Soren does take center stage in Book 4 and 5. And we meet Lord Blackstone... I just finished a high-level synopsis for the books and am excited to get writing!

"
Oh, well, that's just not fair. That will bias me, now. Cruel woman!"
He's gorgeous isn't he? I saw these pics and a character forced his way into my mind... Michel was the result!

What do you think is going to happen in the next book?
In the series as it concludes?
Any guesses? Any hopes?
Let me know -- you just may influence the outcome!

you need to grab the picture url location or image location, the put that in the format

TY! Just figured it out. ;)

Was just looking at my author page and saw the list with all three books on it. Was surprised - considering some of the controversy over BDSM in my books. ;)
