I did see the spreadsheet. On my team last year we had a spreadsheet where we entered all our books and could slot in where they could be used. Then the captain used the info to put them in the master sheet. Are you planning on us posting competed books in this thread?

The second more than the first but I think they both work.

Laura, I think the red looks good but the blue looks like a stretch.

Hi Laura,
For the Red 7, I plan to read
. And for the Green 3
Are you going to be using a spreadsheet for us to post the books we plan to read?

Laura- I did read The Boys in the Boat for a book club years ago and we enjoyed it. I just read Joyful which was about finding joy in common things. And I am currently really enjoying Fire Season about a fire lookout in the Gila Mountains in New Mexico.
I wanted to let you know I added a book that should work for a green 3 and one for a red 7 that I could read next month since we need those. I have no other ideas for color cards for February.
My goal is to read 1 non fiction for every 3 fictions I read so I will keep an eye out for fitting my non fiction in.

Hi all,
I am Felicity and I am from Ohio in the U.S. I am a caregiver for my husband who is a stroke survivor and the mother of a freshman college student and an orange tabby named Tiger.
This is my second year playing UNO and I am really looking forward to it. I like to read fiction mostly but I am trying to read more non fiction this year. I realized last year, though, that non fiction did not have as many opportunities to match cards so I may need to table that goal for the next few months. I like to read mysteries and thrillers, some fantasy and science fiction, some romance and chick lit and sometimes middle school and YA.
I hope this link works. I organize my UNO by shelves. I have a UNO-2022 shelf for my completed books, a UNO-2022-TBR for the books I plan to read and a UNO-2022-color-tbr for books I plan to read that might meet a color card.
https://www.goodreads.com/review/list...I have books I'm reading now so I am trying to hold myself back from starting any new books until Feb. 1. The anticipation is building!
Looking forward to getting to know you!

Quick question about the UNO Shelf.
Is this something we should add potential books to (so that we can look through it once we get the hands ass..."This is my second year of Uno and this is how I set up my shelves. I have a Uno 2022 shelf that is the finished books. I have a Uno 2022 TBR which is the books I am going to read. And then I have a shelf of Uno 2022 TBR Color with the books that are primarily one of the 4 colors you need for Uno color cards (blue, green, yellow or red.)

I enjoyed this challenge too. Hope to see you all in another challenge sometime.

I finished Before the Coffee Gets Cold.

I am reading Before the Coffee Gets Cold which is about time travel so it would relate to the group Back to the Future. I will finish it tomorrow if Lynne doesn't get hers done.

I just finished my book for the detective/police officer. If someone thinks they can't finish theirs on Veronica's list, I can probably find something I could read in the next 2 days. Let me know if anyone needs help. We did a great job on this challenge team!

I should be able to finish my pending book by Friday. I just finished The Push which I stretched to fill in the category "Character who has to get up early" because it is about mothers and several get up early for their children. (Some don't and that was one of the creepy things about this book. It was so good!)

I was wondering if Jodi dropped out of our group? I see she is reading books all the time and never enters them in our spreadsheets. Would it be helpful if she just links her books here and someone can add them where they need to be in the spreadsheet?

I cannot find a book in that page number that I want to read (which means I won't read it quickly!)

So I am trying to finish this challenge strong. So far I finished 2 books today. The first was
and was easy to slot in places. But the second I just finished
is not as easy. I thought it was over 350 pages but when I came to the end of the book, it had the beginning chapter of another book. I didn't think I could use it for that many pages if it wasn't all the same book. Then I wondered, the main character takes harp lessons from a private instructor. Would that count for the mini category "character who goes to school or takes part in any kind of course"?

I finished
and put it in the spreadsheet for the 4, 6 and Draw 2 on the official sheet. Then I used it for the mini challenge for Character going to a club or dancing because one of the characters was a stripper who pole danced (dancing in a club, right?)

I certainly can finish 3 and probably more. Right now I am reading a book that will fill the 4 and the 6 in hand 9, which will also fill the Draw 2 in that hand. I should have this book finished by tomorrow, if not tonite.

I am embarrassed to say that with everyone else's stressful lives, I have become obsessed with vacation planning for our daughter's last trip before she heads off to college and then a first trip for my husband and me without her in the fall. I'm not sure how many more books I can read this month but I'll try to have a better idea by this weekend.

@Lynne - sorry I took your blue 4 spot but we have at least 2 Draw 4's so we could use another Blue 4 for one. I thought it would save someone having to read a book just to get that color.
I think your cover looks pretty bright pink.

I just realized the book I finished today works for a Blue 4 so I put it into that slot. I had not committed to read this book when the month started so that's why I didn't list it.
