I just deleted mine. Veronica- I don't see yours on the Mini Challenge Tab on our google sheets. I put my suggestions on that.

Great! That way we have a wild card we can slot in anytime.

Looking at Hand 4, we need a Draw 2, a 4, a Wild and a red 6. If I read a red 6 book that had a 4, could we use it for the Draw 2? I just started the Moonflower Murders which would cover those.

I finished The Chicken Sisters which fit a 6 Yellow so that's where I put it. I don't think I would recommend the book - seemed overlong, predictable and overly dramatic.

I finished The Survivors and it could have covered several categories but it had a 7 so I thought that would be the best place for it, even though it is a couple of hands away.

I am reading The Chicken Sisters which will fulfill the 6. I should have it done in the next day or 2. Veronica- you should read Nothing to See Here. It was my first book written by Kevin Wilson and I read all the rest of his books last year. They are clever, quirky and fun with some serious themes.

I am wondering, if Lynne used The Seven Husbands for a 8 green card and now Alejandra read it, can we count it as a reverse in hand one?

I don't think the first book counts as yellow. I am with you on not reading books just for the challenge. Hopefully we won't feel the need to do that this month with a more up to date accounting of what needs read. I am hoping to read The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo soon. Did you read Daisy Jones and the Six? I really liked that one.

I am reading The Mothers and should finish it tomorrow or the next day. That will work for a 9.

Happy Wednesday back! It's a pretty day here in Cincinnati, 64 degrees and sunny. May not sound too warm to some of you but we are enjoying it after a snowy and cold February. How's the weather where everyone else is?

Welcome Jodi. As a mother of a teenage daughter, my heart goes out to you. Sending healing wishes for you and your family.

I just added another finished book to the board. Please let me know if I am hogging too many. I promise I won't keep up the 2 a day pace all month. HA HA

Wanted to make sure I did this right. I entered my info in the copy of the Official Board but discovered the formula for the points for the book doesn't work so I manually input what the book earned us.

WOW! Just finished my first book for March and it was powerful. Migrations by Charlotte McConaghy. The animals of the world are dying and a woman wants to the follow the last of the arctic terns from the Arctic to Antarctica. Poetic, atmospheric, tragic and despairing but in the end a story of hope.

I do not see that we came close to our mini challenge. Is that somewhere other than with the monthly spreads? I only see 25 books.

Great start to the month Vivi and Elena! Here’s hoping we finish before the last day of the month in March. My goal is to read more books in March than February (an all time record for me) but I have Spring Break in this month and a bit of book burnout going🥴
I would love it if you would let us know if you recommend the books you are finishing. I’m always looking for new ideas.

I have books for an 8 blue, a 2/4/6 red and a 4 green.
I discovered this month that the cards that are hard to get are the 5s and 7s. I read some books I might not have read if I weren't trying for those cards. Can't say if that was a good or bad thing.

oh- I saw Ali and thought woman. Oops

Elena- reading somewhere else we get 10 points for the book read and then 30 points for reading the chosen book. So I input 30 points in the block next to our list. it shows our summary and the 30 point book.
Veronica- I think it is more orange than yellow.
