Hey Hey Hey, Team Pyxis!Just dropping by to say "thank you" for the recommendation of the Red Queen series (looking at you Ashleigh)! :=)
Now since I had already read the first two books, viz. Red Queen and Glass Sword, this was a great opportunity for me to catch up on Cruel Crown, before I jump on to the last two books in the series (with the fourth one in deep anticipation :P).
I definitely love the series. While Red Queen was an absolute delight, I had my issues with Glass Sword, not being an able sequel to it. But, Cruel Crown gave me a wonderful insight on Queen Coriane and Diana Farley's lives before things went crazy, in two separate short stories. While Queen Coriane's story was a nice prequel to the happenings of Red Queen (more so because it had one of my favourite antagonists, Queen Elara), I was slightly disappointed with how insipid Farley's story turned out.
But, all said and done, I still love the series and I am keen on finding out what is waiting for us in King's Cage and War Storm. Thank you, for the recommendation! Hope you all are having fun with the challenge! :=')
