The spreadsheet is updated with our chosen stream under the 'A Stream' tab!A-A2-A2b-A2bb
The 30 tasks are set, so if your books fit any of the non-spell out tasks, those would be the first preferences, so please do mention them as you find them. :)
I think I like the A sequence slightly better.I would vote for A-A2-A2b-A2ba, seems the simplest of sequences, has spell-outs, page number tasks - all not too difficult and has tons and tons of options!
Thoughts?

Donna wrote: "Apoorv, I didn't check it the amount of yellow because I was in a hurry to leave. It will need moved from the yellow spot I put it in.."Done! It fits a lot of numbers, so we are good! :)
Noel wrote: "Is there any way to argue with tin eye because I’d like to 😅"I would love to be a fly on the wall in that fight, LOL - because I have banged my head and bled many times with TinyEye. It is a stupid website. I don't know how yellow can anything get than this book color! Ugh!

UNO Cards it fits:

4- C: Frances
5- C: Isabelle
6- C: Susanna
7- C: Vince..."
Darn it! According to the stupid TinyEye, this is only 27.1% yellow. :'(
Woot! Woot! Thanks for the prompt response, Kate! You're awesome!
We did it, team!
Every possible point for March achieved!
You guys rock! \m/
Kate wrote: "Will be finished with regicide tonight for the March Mini."Just checking in, Kate, incase you have finished that last book. The deadline is fast approaching and we may need to get that in in the next few hours, if possible! :)
Okay, now I am curious and want to win this thing! So, I did some spreadsheet snooping. :PThe max points that the top 3 teams can get in April:
Miss Marple - 2355
Alex Cross - 2340
Hannah Swensen - 2355
If these teams get all these points, the points at the end of the challenge will be.
Miss Marple - 2355+5710 = 8065
Alex Cross - 2340+5635 = 7975
Hannah Swensen - 2355+5615 = 7970
Add around 450ish Apr Mini points, and it will be a close call for #2. Ofcourse, you never know which other team can pipe up out of nowhere.
But, it's safe to say that the challenge is getting heated up! :)
Well, Alex Cross has a 30-point jump coming up when they finish the last 3 of their Mini Challenge books, and we will have a 10 point jump - so they will be unfortunately 20 points ahead of us.But, what a kickass team this is!
I am so glad that I get to enjoy this challenge with all your book crazies! :D
Basically, if you have a book that can work for critical letters, try NOT to finish it before the beginning of April. :P
I just hate these stupid reverses! Ugh!Eh, I guess I will be snooping around in all your profiles next month. :P :P
Alright! Phew, now that things are moved in their respective homes, here are the tasks we need books for:9. Read a book with a character who is a nosey neighbour - DONNA
21. Read a book with a weapon on the cover - KATE
23. Read a book where a royal family member is killed so that someone else can take the throne
31. Read a book with a person wearing sunglasses on the cover - KATE
38. Read a book with N-O-W in the title (doesn't need to be in that order) - NOEL
Kate wrote: "Where’d you go Bernadette for wearing glasses!"Unfortunately read before the start of the challenge. :-(
We will have to consider only books finished after March 15th.
Don't worry about the color books. We have enough in the bag and I am going to be shuffling things as we start with the last two hands. The focus will probably need to be the Mini Challenge.
If any of your previously read books fit any of the open tasks, please drop in a word here. Would help! Especially the spell-outs. they can be completed at the end, not too difficult.
Donna wrote: "Awesome! Everything else seems to be a breeze to fit books into so we can focus fully on that mini challenge from this point on."I literally came here to write this, and you already read my mind!
Captain Awesome! :)
Kate wrote: "Okay - Updated my first two weeks of March. Will finish another soon and then will look at how I can help with fitting things in (reading a book with a V - Penny Vincenzi to try and help with categ..."Sweet! A lot of books you read were previously read by either Noel or myself, so covers a bunch of reverses! :)
For books finished after the 15th, don't forget to look at the Mini. We can hopefully cover some of those little babies too. :)
No worries, I can use Noel's book for the spell-outs.But, now that we have the mini challenge underway, please do stop by the mini challenge tab and list out all the tasks as far as possible, that your book would apply to.
That way, it would be easier to move things around and eventually identify the hard to solve tasks!
