Also, for the ones with read a book which gave a team it's name, can it be the second book. I have the second book (and the rest) of Anne of Green Gables to read. I think the second book is actually called Anne of Avonlea, but maybe that's the third. If it's allowed, I could maybe get 2 or 3 of them read as they are fairly short but I know that's probably pushing my luck with the rules.

Can you remind me about how to do the location if needed for audiobooks. For example is it okay if I use the time the thing was said as the location or does it need to be a page number? It is very likely that the books I will finish will be audiobooks.

It was good thank you! I actually fell asleep both nights before midnight which I haven't done in months because of the hours I work. I did get woken up both mornings though by their cat as she wanted lots of attention. Every time I was about to fall back to sleep she would jump up near me or meow. But overall I slept way better than I thought I would.

I didn't get any reading done over the weekend, but I will try and make good progress on my books this week. I'm mostly working on my blue book, but like everyone else I won't finish anything now until the mini starts. I've got lots to catch up on anyway.

You all know how my week went with work so I won't bore you with that again, but it resulted in me reading a lot less than I wanted/would have otherwise. I am going away this weekend to see some friends which will be nice, but will also mean not a lot of reading will happen. It is likely that I will stay up later than them so I may be able to get some reading done before bed. It is also likely I will have trouble sleeping while there, especially on the first night, so there may be more opportunity to read then.
I will be coming home on Monday evening so should have some time then to work on some reading.
I hope you all have a good weekend!

There's a problem with that. I got in trouble for wearing my headphones even though I claimed I was just drowning out noise (I was actually listening to an audiobook, but they dont need to know that). My phone was in my car, they could have searched my bag if they wanted.
And then an hour or so later I got in trouble for talking... which I wouldn't have done if they had let me wear my headphones.
The worst thing is that other people had ear buds in and had nothing said to them and then pretty much the whole room was talking in the later half of the shift but they didnt get into trouble.
If one more thing had gone wrong today I might have quit.

They said it's because we are working with peoples personal information and by having our phones in the room we are breaking the law. Before we were told not to use/look at our phones while we were in there and keep them in our bags, but we could go outside and still use them or take important phone calls. Some people have kids or other reasons why they might get called while on shift. I dont understand why I can't keep my phone buried in the bottom of my bag.
I understand why they are doing this, I just dont understand why it wasnt like this from the start if it is such a big deal. That's the main thing we are all annoyed about.
Those of us who listened to stuff have said our productivity will decrease. I know mine will because I'm more likely to start talking to people. I guess we will see what happens.

I have some annoying news. My work has decided we cannot have our phones in the building at all. Or at least the one I work in and some rooms in the main building. They are going to be getting lockers to put them apparently but we don't know where they will be. This means that we won't be able to listen to anything apart from the annoying radio that is in the room and plays the same 10 songs over and over again. Most of us rely on our music or podcasts or in my case, audiobooks to help get us through the monotonous work that we do.
So this will likely affect the amount of books I can read.
But there is a bit of light at the end of this dark tunnel. I have wireless headphones and I tested if they were still in range if I have my phone in my car and they were! The problem is that parking spaces are not allocated so you just park wherever there is a space. So on days that I can park close enough to the building to be in range, I can listen to an audiobook. On days where I have to park further away, I sadly won't be able to and I will be upset.
I know this was a bit of a long rant, but this was the only thing that made work a little more enjoyable. For now I will not plan anymore books, but I will definitely read the ones I have already added on the spreadsheet.

The weather here in the UK has been similar too. We had a nice week or so of warm sunny weather and then last week the temperature dropped. A lot of the country woke up to snow in the morning. Because I work late, it also means I get up later so by the time I woke up any snow or ice that was where I live was gone. It did snow for about 2 minutes on Saturday. Very unusual weather for this time of year.
On the reading front, I finished my first book of the month yesterday and I should finish another tomorrow. I may get another one or two in by the end of the week depending on distractions at work.
Over the next weekend I might have a look at some books with green covers to see if I can help cover at least one of them as we seem to be struggling with those. The one I wanted to read doesn't seem to work for any of the cards we have, which is a shame.

I added most of her books on my TBR in 2012 (whatever she had written before then) but I removed some of them becuase it didnt seem like I would ever get around to reading them. But now Audible have their plus catalogue a lot of the classic books I wanted to read are there so I can use my credit on other books. That's why I now have the one I'm planning to read ready to go.
Also I haven't read Saint Anything but I'll have to gove it a go.

Thanks Keely! It looks white enough to me. I’m also planning a Sarah Dessen book in April! I just saw they’re making Along for the Ride into a Netflix movie in April and it’s been ye..."Ooooh, I think I read that one last year... or the year before. I fell in love with Sarah Dessen when I was a teenager. We were going abroad and I looked in a bookstore at the airport for something interesting and found The Truth About Forever. I loved it. Now I'm older, the teenage drama isn't as appealing, but it's nice to go back to her books sometimes.

I also finished my last painting book. I'm getting a little fed up with classic books so it'll be nice to mix it up a bit with the books I want to read next.
I'm planning to read
which to me looks mostly white but it could be argued to be more of a cream. I don't know if that makes a difference. I'm going to read it regardless, but I could use that for our last Overload card if it is white enough.

It went off quite close together so maybe they were testing it or doing some sort of maintenance, but didn't think to tell us. The team I work with are in a small seperate building so it is possible they just forgot to warn us.

Yes, I didn't read as much of it as I wanted to yesterday because my mind was so distracted. I had some idiot pull right out in front of me in his car. It's a good thing I saw him going fast and suspected he wasn't going to stop so I was able to not crash into him. He didn't even look! I honked my horn at him and he waved out the window as if that made it all okay. I muttered some strong words to myself.
And then the fire alarm went off twice at work and both times stopped before we made it to the door.
But on the book related note, I have plenty of time today and tomorrow to get through it.

I finished
Oliver Twist this morning. I didn't go to work on Friday as I was feeling unwell so I didn't finish it then, but as I've finished it before work, I can now focus on my last book for this month
Barchester Towers. Due to it's length I will maybe finish it tomorrow, but if not then definitely Wednesday. It depends on distractions at work.

Okay, I've looked at my books.
My Blue book fits for most of the blue cards. For now I've put it in 7 Blue as I think that would be the hardest to cover, but I'm happy to change it to a different one.
From what I can see, my yellow seems to only fit the Skip on so I would like to claim that one.
And I've moved my black cover book over to the April spreadsheet too.

I don't mind holding off on mine, I can start something else in the meantime.
I have a yellow book and a blue book planned for April, but I need to check what they would work best for. Even if they don't fit any of the ones we have, I want to read them regardless.
I could probably find a green book as well as we have a few of them, but I will wait until people have had time to claim stuff.

I'm on target to read everything I claimed.
Oliver Twist has taken a bit longer to read becuase of distractions at work, but I only have a little bit left now so will finish it tomorrow.
Rebecca is my current before bed read and I should finish it over the weekend.
I will start
Barchester Towers as soon as I finish Oliver. I should have it done on Tuesday maybe Wednesday, but definitely before the end of the month.

I should finish [book:Oliver Tw..."Yeah, that makes sense. I thought that would be the case which is why I asked. I didn't finish Oliver today but should do tomorrow or at least get close and then I will begin the other book. Moby Dick can wait until next month.

Do you think
can class as a classical painting? I've already started it, but stopped to prioritise others.
I should finish
Oliver Twist tomorrow so I can definitely do another book for the classical painting. If Moby-Dick won't work then I have
I can read instead, but I figured I would see if we think the one I have started will work.
