I loved The Hunt for Red October. I read Fall On Your Knees, too. I actually read both of those in the 90s, lol.

I know,lol. And it is not a small book either. I seem to be drawn to big books that start slow, lol.

Anyway, for my books from the list, I think I will go for either Dragonfly in Amber or A Game of Thrones as they both fit challenges in another group I am in.
