I hear you, Amanda. I currently have 25 loans out myself.....and they are all for me. :(

Don't forget to post which of your lists that you want people to pick from.

8565 No theme Charity. We may go back to that in future sessions, but for now I just want to get the game back going. :)

8565 I hope you all enjoyed the first session of POTS for the year. It is now time to sign up for the Session 2, which will run for April/May.

I will be gone next week for Spring Break and probably will not get the teams assigned until Monday, April 6. After teams have been assigned, you can begin recommending books right away. There is no longer a restriction on when reading starts, so you may begin reading as soon as all of your team members have chosen the books for each other.

As usual, please indicate the number of books that you wish to read and the shelf that you would like people to pick for you from.

Thanks and ENJOY!

TEAMS

Team 1
Dee - 3 books
Tien - 3 books
Charity - 2 books
Lauren - 2 books
Bea - 2 books
Lahni - 1 book

Team 2
Amanda - 3 books
Susan - 3 books
Marie - 3 books
Kaitlin - 2 books
Lyn - 1 book

Actually, Dee, you make a good point. There is no reason to wait for sign ups, so I am going to go ahead and start a sign up thread for Session 2 now.

What were you hoping, Dee?

8565 Dee wrote: "are we going to do another round? since this one ends in a few days...(pretty please!)"

Yes we are. Sign ups for the new round will begin April 1.

I have a question, though. Would you all rather have a two month session, or restart each session quarterly?

I'm probably the only person alive that hasn't read or seen the Potter series."

Matt wrote: "I have Harry Potter for moving mountains and trivia pursuit and it is on the Russia shelf too. So, I will start there."

Matt and Debi - I think Harry Potter is on every shelf, lol. We used to have an "unofficial" contest about it, lol.

8565 I still need to work on mine, I haven't even decided exactly which one I am going to read yet, lol. March is the month!

8565 I love books about Russia. Another great shelf! I have a number of Russian books that I own or on my TBR, including:

Catherine the Great: Portrait of a Woman
Catherine the Great
The Bronze Horseman
Russian Winter
The Romanov Sisters: The Lost Lives of the Daughters of Nicholas and Alexandra
The Winter Palace: A Novel of Catherine the Great

And I am halfway through Fall of Giants, so maybe I will try to finish that. :)

8565 Has anyone decided which book(s) they are going to read yet. There are so many good suggestions for me, I am having trouble deciding, but I think I am going to to with either Tell the Wolves I'm Home or A Town Like ALice. I finally got my book for the Reader's Pursuit game, though, so I am going to read it first. :)
