Today, while we were in town, the boy and I decided to go to the library. I left with a meager 13 books. No more shelf space...oh boy. My haul was the first 12 Xanth books by Piers Anthony and
Grave Peril by
Jim Butcher. The price tag was just $6.50; that's cheaper than just one new paperback. Go Me!

DUDE! I've been looking for a paperback version of this for years. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm currently reading
Gene Lancour's newest book
Resurgence of Empire. I came in the mail yesterday!!

I look for the Imaro book..."I was lucky enough to find books 2 & 3 tucked away on a bottom shelf at my local bookstore for half the cover price. Imagine the elation!! Although book 1 was more elusive, I broke down and ordered it from Ebay. I searched for about a year until I found one for less than $10 with shipping. Joining this group actually prompted me to begin reading this series. It's been gathering dust for several years. Good luck with your search, Jack!

I'm reading the original DAW edition
The Quest for Cush: Imaro II. I really enjoyed Imaro, so hopefully I'll feel the same about this one.

He's been one of my favorites (problematic though he may be) ever si..."Nice looking cover! I've never heard of or seen that title before today. His books seem to be fairly scarce; at least here in Alabama.

I have some Lovecraft on the shelf, just never have gotten around to it. Maybe one day. Happy reading Joseph!!

I just finished
Sword of Destiny, which was great and now I'm picking up
Les Daniels The Silver Skull. This is the sequel to
The Black Castle.

Lol it took two boxes. But you know those Doc Savage books arent very thick.
Charles wrote: "Cool. I believe that Dael Forest was really Ken Bulmer. I've got those books too"Yeah that's what I always heard too Charles. I hope I like them as much as some of his other works.

Has anyone ever read the Wolf Dreams series by Michael D Weaver? The titles are
Wolf-Dreams,
Nightreaver, and
Bloodfang.

I just picked up 132 of the Doc Savage books for $0.20 a piece. The books vary from reading copy to like new with many falling somewhere in between. I also picked up
Barba the Slaver and
Haesel the Slave by
Dael Forest in like new condition. And finally I picked up
Doc Savage: His Apocalyptic Life and
Escape from Loki by
Philip José Farmer in acceptable and like new condition respectively.

I've been looking for these for years.

Thought I would pick one unmentioned or overlooked. For me it's
King of the Wood. Skol!
