If you are not familiar with this series, then by all means read Heroes Die. It is amazing.

There were a few books this year for me that vie for best. Although, The Dragon Waiting by John M. Ford would be my pick for best.

As for worst, well, there were a few of those too. The Accursed Tower by John Cleve(Andrew J. Offutt) would have to be my worst. With it's graphic sex and flimsy almost nonexistent story I was not entertained.

The year is winding down and I was wondering what was your best and worst read this year?

I have Undying In Yana but I seem to have lost my copy of Nifft the Lean.

I read Carnacki, the Ghost Finder awhile ago and really enjoyed it. Wish he had written more of those stories.

It's strange. The quality of the books seems to have degraded since I've brought them home, lol. They're nice from afar, but far from nice. Some are still great, and some are middling. A few are not so hot. A Spell for Chameleon is the worst. It looks fine on the shelf but the spine has separated from the cover and the book is broken near the middle. I was thinking a few dabs of Gorilla glue would fix'er up. Any suggestions?
