Went on a mini road trip with the family and found this nice haul:
Some I found at a flea market near here, but most I found at a new store called 2nd and Charles. They are owned by Books a Million and their location in Athens, GA was awesome. They carry used books, comics, games, legos, music, and dvds. It's a thrifter's dream come true.

Hmm, I loved the movie as a child. Hopefully, this measures up.
Today was a good day. I got this load for $20. 
Then these next ones I was super pleased to find.
The one I found is a 1952 edition not the Planet Stories edition.
And finally this one made my day.

Yeah, it took a long time watching for a cheap set of three. Luckily I was able to purchase all three from a seller in Great Britain on ebay back in '04.

I would have loved to see it. If Hollywood had made this though, it would have had an outrageous budget, that even with great ticket sales it would be deemed a failure. But television, hmm, it could work.
The Dread Empire series by Glen Cook is also worth checking out.
I am currently reading The Black Castle by Les Daniels. The setting is the Spanish Inquisition with all of it's horrors. The drama is between two brothers, one the Grand Inquisitor of the Church-the other a vampire, and the woman they both desire for their individual ends.
