I tend to use up my book money right away lol, leaving me broke by the time a new month rolls around.

Creatures in the Woods theme starts today (the month is always in the thread title)...I'm going to read Bigfoot Crank Stomp for it later this month.

Please use spoiler tags and chapter/page numbers when talking about the book.

Anyone else have a nomination before the poll goes up?

🤗

I have aphantasia as well but am character-driven. Of course i'm also an emotional infp lol. I can lose the plot but if i've fallen in love with the characters i'm good. I have strong feelings for characters and themes but forget details and plot points quite easily. It's interesting how it can affect different people. :)
I hope you find many enjoyable books to read and enjoy your time here.

You can find all the folders (for future reference) by going to the Group home page, to the right of Discussion Board it says "topic: all | new | unread" click all and they all show up. Click new and you can make a new topic and there will be a drop down menu where you can choose any folder, even if it's not showing on the home page.

I have (but have yet to read) The Mummy by Anne Rice.
I have read (it was on protected pdf from netgalley so I no longer have it) The Mammoth book of the Mummy by Paula Guran which I ended up giving an over-all average of 3.22.
I also have (but haven't read yet) Into the Mummy's Tomb by John Richard Stephens.
Others i've found on here (but don't have so I can't vouch for any of them or anything) include: The Mummies of Ürümchi by Elizabeth Wayland Barber, Lost in a Pyramid & Other Classic Mummy Stories by Andrew Smith, Out of the Sand: Mummies, Pyramids, and Egyptology in Classic Science Fiction and Fantasy by Chad Arment, Unearthed: Classic Tales of the Mummy by John J. Johnston, The Mummy Megapack: 20 Modern and Classic Tales by John Gregory Betancourt, Mummies, Tombs, and Treasure: Secrets of Ancient Egypt by Lila Perl Yerkow, The Mummy Congress: Science, Obsession, and the Everlasting Dead by Heather Pringle and The Mummy (Valancourt 20th Century Classics) by Riccardo Stephens.
And if middle grade is up your alley I enjoyed The Mummy Walks by R.L. Stine.
I have a desire to read more mummy tales but they aren't the easiest to find. Though I seem to have found more than I realized. :)

I desperately want to read Feed because of all the wonderful things i've heard about it, I just feel bad because i've basically ignored the few netgalley books I still have, one of which is Sparrow Hill Road by her, and here I am, reading her other books and not the book I got from Netgalley >.< I know, I need to fix that at some point. But at least i'm buying her other books so...that's something? Right? >.<
I think regardless of what wins for July it'll be a fun time!

Nominate some zombie books to read in July!
After this thread has been up for a bit and has some nominations a poll will be held with the nominations to decide July's group read!
