Alma, you've posted this as a comment. You'll need to cut and paste as a review, or it won't show up in your final list.
I loved Patrick when I was a child. It's a great book.

Thanks Chris, this sounds like a great books for a topic on toys as well as one to read and enjoy.

I've done some book reviews based on the books I have seen in my nursery class

Thanks Shemona! They will be very useful to your fellow trainees doing EYFS placements.

Here is another review of a book that I have come across in my placement called 'Can't You Sleep Little Bear?'. Reading this story with my class is the first time that I've experienced..."
That's a great review, Beth! Martin Waddell is a great picture book author, and that is a wonderful book- not least because it is one of the few with a "dad" figure caring for a "child" figure, which would be important if you had a class with a child living with their dad. Look out for Owl Babies too.

Thanks Chris! Some great reviews. Here is the link to your review of The Gruffalo- your link was to the book, which has had 107 reviews by UEL trainees! http://www.goodreads.com/review/show/... I think I would probably use Michael Rosen's Sad Book either in RE or in PHSE, to discuss death and grieving, particularly if a child in the class had recently had a death in the family, as I think it explains really well that we don't just feel sad when someone dies; we also feel anger, guilt, despair and sometimes, happy.
