Thanks, Shaun and Jaide! Great reviews. Shaun, have you read any of
David Walliams' books? Readers who enjoy Roald Dahl have often enjoyed it. Jaide, I read
Utterly Me, Clarice Bean last weekend, and loved it!

Thanks Andrew! I'm glad that you enjoyed them. It's a really attractive book , isn't it? Nice shiny paper and colourful illustrations.

Thanks Carlena!
Emily Gravett is a fantastic author as well as illustrator. I particularly like
Meerkat Mail.

Well done, P8, some great reviews!

Well done, P3, some fantastic books. Mr Skip and Freckle Juice are new to me; I'll look out for them!

Thank you, Yasmin, that was a favourite of my Reception classes too! It's a lovely fun book.

That looks amazing, Chris! Thank you.

Thank you, Terri and Andrew. Andrew, those books look fantastic! Definitely ones to remember for reluctant readers in the future.

Thank you, Taslema and Rahime, some great reviews! Rahime, if you like The Twits I recommend
You're A Bad Man, Mr. Gum!

Thanks Jonathan, it's a beautiful book.

Only 2 are showing up, Chloe. Ask a fellow trainee to talk you through it when you're back at university. Have you used the guide on UEL Plus?

Thanks, Sam and Charlene. I agree,
Susan Laughs is a wonderful resource. I read it to my Reception class which had a boy with cerebral palsy who was about to become a wheelchair user since his condition was deteriorating. It was very useful to prepare the class, so they focused on the boy and not the chair.

Thanks, Katherine and Emily! Great reviews. Shel Silverstein is wonderful, Katherine. Have you read
The Missing Piece?

Thanks all! Hope you're having a great Christmas.
