Hahaha, seriously! (: Legolas *swoon*
I ended up reading like, five pages! I was all set to buckle down and dive in, and then my parents were like, "We recorded the rest of Yentl!" which we started in the morning and didn't get to finish. So I got sucked into to the musical and then was too angry about the ending to read anything else, hahaha. Plus, it was about one in the morning by the time we were done!
As soon as I get home from church...Eragon will be taken down! (:

Elaine, hahah, I understand. (: A game has never felt so real to me! I usually love playing side quests and getting items and all that, but Ico's menu had "Quit" and "Return to Game" and that was IT! It was like you were in the game! It felt so real that I couldn't play when it was dark outside because I was afraid the Spirits would come and attack me or something, hahah. I'd scream every time one of them grabbed Yorda!
Tessa, I loved To Kill a Mockingbird! I read it a couple years ago in English and I wrote my paper on the use of the mockingbird motif throughout the book. I was so glad I didn't have to just analyze the racism, but, like you said, standing up for what you believe to be right, even when it's unpopular.

I feel like a marathon runner! (:

Hi Michelle! Wow, six kids! Such a wide age range! I hope that you end up really liking Goodreads! I know when I joined last year, it was like I'd found an entire group of friends who understood me perfectly! (:
Hi Ashley! That's terrible about most of your books being destroyed! Such a loss. :( I judge books by their cover, too, hahah! But I never think a book will be bad based on its cover, but rather is the cover is gorgeous, the book should be amazing! This theory has proved me wrong many times before, but I can't stop myself, hahah. Good luck with restarting your collection. (:
Hi Renee! It sounds like you'll be able to buddy read sometime with a lot of us, since I think we all have classics of some kind of our shelf. (: A physics teacher?! That's impressive! I'm taking chemistry right now and I often feel like I don't understand a thing that's going on! I look forward to reading with you sometime. (:
Hi Tessa! I've heard about shelfari but never really understood what it was. It's about the same as goodreads, right? (: Oh, and a hundred and fifty-seven books is impressive! Holy crap! That's talented. (:
April wrote: "Thalia wrote: "My goodness, you all make my dusty books look like kid's stuff! Well...I suppose it is to lots of you, hahaha. I feel so ridiculously young and un-learned! (:"
Ahhh...Thalia, you ma..."Golden seventeen? Sounds good to me. (; At least I don't feel inferior anymore, hahahah. And if ever I do, I'll tell myself that I've got those thousand pages of Poe on my list! (;

March is only eighteen days away?! If I want to meet all my February reading challenges, I still have to read five books after Eragon! Whaaaaa. *power through*
We'll let you know which stories! (:

Elaine, Ico was on the computer? I thought it was only on PS2!
But I LOVED the game. Like, I was sobbing my way through it because I thought it was so beautiful. And I cried when they rereleased it on the PS3 and the graphics were just...gorgeous. But yes, they made a book! It was released about half a year ago, and I got it the DAY it came out and finished it the same day! It was so beautiful! <3
OTL

Hi Heather! I think this group might help you stop buying, at least for a little bit, hahah. (: That's why I'm here at least! Maybe you'll be able to have a buddy read sometime!

Hi Tonya! Hah, I've watched SO much Yo Gabba Gabba with my niece! She loves it. (: "There's a party in my tummy! So yummy! So yummy!" Pleased to meet you! (:

Hi Heather! Veritas is right; look at other people's shelves, because often members will have some of the same books! And then you can buddy read and it makes it much easier to get through your dusty books when you have someone to get through it with! (:
Hello Lydia! Ah, Germany! One of my best friends lives in Germany. (: Do you read a lot of classics that are free on Kindle? I've downloaded like, as many as I can to my dad's iPad, hahah.
Hi Marilyn! I can't wait to see what your dusty shelf looks like! (:

Adrianne, I don't blame you, hahah. I'm still trying to buckle down and get down to it!
April, I remember that! If you're looking, you can see some parallels, but not enough to say Paolini directly copied anybody. I applaud him for being so successful! I plan on finishing tonight after the Valentine's dance I'm going to. (:

I've heard really great things about Shiver, April, so I'm excited to read it! I bought it at a Borders sale a LONG time ago and just never got around to reading it! I'd love to read the next two with you, since I'll probably get them after I read the first one. (:
Woo, Poe! March is when we'll start!

I'm not a fan of handhelds. I managed my way through Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 on my friend's DS, but that's about it so far, hahaha.

Oh, yeah? Is it like Final Fantasy in that you don't need to play the previous ones to understand the other ones? I don't mind shooters, although I'm not that great at them, hahaha. I did buy FFVII: Dirge of Cerberus online (yet to get it), and I know that's a shooter. o.O But I will start with three!

My goal
was to finish it last night and just blaze through the last three hundred pages, but I also wanted to watch Fahrenheit 451 to complete a "Book to Movie" challenge I'm taking. Fell asleep an hour in and woke up at the strangest part (that wasn't in the book)! So I gave up, realized I was exhausted, and didn't end up reading Eragon at all! OTL The Stake Valentine's dance is tonight and I'm going, but when I get home, no matter how exhausted, I will not rest until Eragon is compelete!
So who's reading Clockwork Angel? I'd love to hear your thoughts when you're finished!

Chimney, that's true! I really loved that they put Land of Dragons into the second game. I have to admit, I loved it when Goofy figured out Mulan was a girl and Sora and Donald were clueless. (; I think I only really liked Olympus Coliseum in the second game. Basically because you could actually go into the Underworld and do stuff (that wasn't a tournament, hahah), and I mean...Auron was there! I was so very exctied to see him! And while he's a little annoying in FFX, the way he kept being all like, "RAWR, THIS IS MY STORY" at Sora was a little overwhelming. XD I haven't played Persona! D: I really want to, though. There are soooo many games on my list; all I need is like, a million hours and a million dollars to play them all!
Veritas, always great to meet other gamers. (; I think RPGs are the most fun; those and puzzle games!

Hi RJ! Nice to meet you and welcome! (:

I haven't played any Final Fantasy prior to X. D: I own FFVIII, but I need a stupid PS1 memory card in order to save it! And then I have X, X-2, XII, and XIII. Nobody liked XI enough to get it, hahaha.
Favorite world? That's tough! I really loved Neverland in the first game, mostly because I could fly though, hahah. I think if I had to pick a total favorite I'd say...Hollow Bastion? In the first game it's so creepy and fun to explore, and then in the second game there's tons of levlling you can do. Or the World That Never Was. I'll Final Form my way through any Nobody that comes my way! ;D What about you?
Yay, PS3! I have that! :D Now all I need is some cash and I will definitely play it! I love fun leveling systems! To me, that's probably one of the best parts of a game! (:
