61281 Hi, Hannah; hi Kat! (: Pleased to meet you both (although Hannah I already know)! (:

61281 Oh, there's the infamous Paradise Lose book I've heard so much about between you all, hahah! Looks like it'll be fun. (;

61281 Oh yes, The Winter King is on my list! (:
Oh dear me, I wish I had more Arthur books on my dusty bookshelf challenge than just the one! The problem here is that I don't own anyyyy.

61281 Jessica, who is this Eddings man? I must get to know him immediately!

Ohhhh, edited to add! Aha!

Dalynn, I'd love to hear them ALL, if you don't mind listing them off. (; I try to add any Arthurian book I can find, though I'm sad to say I've only read just a few. Avalon High was kind of fun if you're looking for something light, that doesn't necessarily add up to the original stories (the only unforgivable thing Cabot did here was pair up her Arthur with the Lady of the Lake *dies*).

The Lost Years of Merlin, I thought, wasn't that great, and actually pretty bad, but I'll have to read the rest of the series and see.
And of course, the book I'll be reading after TLB is Tris & Izzie, a modern retelling of Tristan and Isuelt!

Other than those, I have all the original books/legends, etc. and any spin off series' I can find here on GR. I've also seen all four seasons of BBC's "Merlin", and I am just about dying for season five to come out. OTL

Last year we had the shortest of Arthurian units in my English class. :[ We didn't even read anything, except for brief excerpts from "The Adventures of Sir Lancelot" and the like. The only classes at least got to read Sir Gawaine and the Green Knight! I feel royally ripped off, hahah.

61281 Huzzah, it sure is! (; Still, fifteen is a long series! The only problem with that is my compulsive need to own my books. I seriously can't even borrow from the library. And if I borrow from a friend, I need to own the book ASAP. My bookshelves are like a map of where I've been in my reading, even if I ended up hating the book, hahah.

61281 Oh, good, hahaha. I was like, "Oh man. What have I just committed to?!" x)

Oh, I uploaded the photo to tinypic.com and used their HTLM code to put it here. (: But glad you figured it out!

Poe = pie. This seems a fair explanation. (:

61281 WHAT. Instand add. Give me a knight and I'm set for life. You're talking to the ultimate Arthurian fangirl, so anything knightly/medieval just makes me insanely happy. (:

61281 Hahah, you already know it! My pseudonym is Thalia Anderson. (: My real name is boring. OTL

Jason Born! That IS exciting! I'd read anything by him, just for the name! (;

I knew I couldn't be the only one who didn't understand ETA, hahahah.

61281 Really, the day I learned about spoiler HTML, I wanted to cry with joy. Also the slash-type one. This is my favorite thing EVER.

April, for my reviews, I always do a "mini" one, so people have the general gist of why I liked/didn't like a book, and then I go into specific "What I Liked" and "What I Didn't Like" sections with a spoiler warning. I feel like that works the best for the people reading. (:

Whaaaa, I love romances. All kinds, every kind! (Well, I mean, I don't ready anything steamy. OTL) Which I suppose is ironic; there's a romance novelist who has my exact real first and last name. If I ever want to be published, I must do so with my safe, non-steamy pseudonym. OTL

(view spoiler)

Dalynn, what does ETA mean?! I mean, "estimated time of arrival" I know, but that didn't work in the context. x)

61281 Everybody is boring old blue, so don't feel too bad. (:

Oh goodness! Hahahah, and yes that is the "out to lunch" guy! (; Used him in perfect context! Anyway, I think I might! I have an account on every other social networking site! (With the exception of myspace/livejournal, hahahaha.)

I feel like all our conversations might just blend into one, regardless of topic, ahahah.

61281 April, if ever you have a spoiler, you can just do the HTLM for spoilers! (view spoiler)

I look forward to getting my hands on a copy of WH someday!

61281 It's tempting! I'll have to think about it, considering I don't really like the idea of twitter, and I wouldn't want people to follow me expecting legit posts, hahaha. Really, it would be for the giveaways. That's the only reason I have a blogspot account. OTL.
Jan 31, 2012 06:16PM

61281 Yes April, the boring old blue is your dashboard, not your actual blog. (; If you want to find new people to follow, try searching the tags for stuff you love; I'm constantly looking at the "reading" tag, and mostly find people to follow from that! It's kind of confusing when you first start, but it's really easy to get the hang of. (:

Okay, seriously considering Twitter just so I can enter more giveaways, hahah.
Jan 31, 2012 03:14PM

61281 April, Tumblr doesn't send you email updates on who you're following. That's all on your dashboard/tumblr homepage. (: If there were email alerts, you'd get like, MILLIONS of them because Tumblr has more posts/quantity than other blog sites, hahah.

61281 Adriana, I actually stopped Uglies series partway through! I liked Leviathan though, but it is not at all mature. The writing is kind of childish, so don't feel too daunted by it, hahah.
Jan 30, 2012 07:29PM

61281 I just read Leviathan! And Mixed Up Files a loooong time ago. Sounds like you've got quite the variety!

61281 Do you like Silmarillion so far? I'm looking forward to getting my hands on a copy, as I love all things LotR! :D
