Holy crap! An entire month has gone by. I'm stuck in limbo with On the Edge because I haven't really made any time for reading. I think I've managed three chapters since my last "Currently Reading" update.

I love fantasy - the more magic the better, and happy, or at least satisfying endings.
Right now, I would appreciate something relatively light, and if it happens to be humorous that would be icing on the cake, but its not necessary.

Major kudos if any of these or these qualify, as that would help me with my challenges as well.

I'm in a lull at the moment though. Not sure what I want to read next. Nothing is "sticking". I've tried: Deep Fried and Pickled (about 2 or 3 chapters), The Age of Innocence (maybe 2 pages), The Iron King (again about 2 chapters).

I may just go back to manga, except I can't really take those with me to work. I mean I can, but my next series is in 2 omnibuses and they're cumbersome (as in short and very fat - Chobits: Omnibus, Vol. 1 & Chobits: Omnibus, Vol. 2)
Its hard to read them discreetly while the students are supposed to be working.

I've completed my 2nd series of the year!!Yay! :)

It is intended to be a humorous criticism of the upper class. In fact, I think I remember reading somewhere that mockery of the aristocracy was included in all of her work.
