I think that is an excellent idea!

Good Job! I'm thinking...that along with the "x" number of books suggestion on helping to curb your book hoarding, you could use your budget in another way to help as well.
You were under by $0.70 in May, so you can aim for under by $1.00 or under by $1.40 in June, then under by $2.00 or $2.80 in July, etc.
HomeInMyShoes wrote: "We totally want to hear what you're reading for school."Oh! Thanks. Two of the books are textbooks (Biology & Math). I included them on my shelf, I just didn't post about them here. The other is a book assigned to a class that I will be covering when the kids start their new school year in August. The regular teacher made sure I had a copy as well. Unfortunately, I had an issue or two with the selection (so I made sure that my review did not post on FB).

Hi DoodlePanda. :)
How do you create the arrows that you are using in your posts?
I was beginning to believe that I would not be updating this thread, again, at all this year. It's been a very busy (for better and for worse) 2016! I love that I've been able to return to school, but I so miss my leisure reading time, and I know I will miss it again come August.
While this is technically my 6th read of the year (yes I did read my Biology textbook from cover to cover), it is only my 2nd "for me" read (besides Spy vs Spy Missions of Madness which has no words). The others were either for school or for work.

I'm puzzling out..."
Oh! I was thinking annually, sorry.
Read a book with a cover from each color of the basic rainbow : Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Purple/Violet. or
Read a collection of books that represent a box of crayons.
That would add at minimum Brown, and Black if you were going for a basic pack of 8.
Read a book starting with each letter of the/an alphabet. (Excluding articles A, AN, and THE) Language = Reader's choice. (Difficulty level varies)A Tree Grows in Brooklyn would work for the letter "T" but not the letter "A".

Been thinking about it for a while, but I'm not on MR, so I thought I wasn't allowed ;)"
Well, I'm glad you checked and I'm glad you're here.
DoodlePanda wrote: "I know you might like to plan ahead, Christa, but reading challenge for 2106... Not that's impressive! ;)"Now I can't unsee this!
I've not made a challenge for 2020 yet, but I'm all set for next year already.

I think I'm going to add it to the extension before deciding, though, so I can get an idea of how often a book is there but not at my library."Thats an excellent idea!
