Pinterest, of course!!! Also, food blogs, food magazines as well as the many food shows I love to watch. The newest one I binged was Cook at All Costs on Netflix. It was fun and I am hoping they have a second series.
Jenny, the Terracotta Army is amazing. They are so highly underrated... I didn't realize just how detailed they are until I saw them in person. Each figure looks completely different from the others. Their faces, hands... everything is so unique to each figure and so lifelike that I was convinced that they would move any second. If it hadn't been that the group I was with was moving to the next site, I could and would have stared at them for hours. As it is, I took a bazillion photos of each one I came across.Also, forgot to say, your cats are sooooo cute 😍
-If you were walking into a prize fight, before an adoring crowd, what would your theme song be?Tchaikovsky's 1812 Overture, complete with cannons, fireworks et al. I attended a concert at the Royal Albert Hall where they had cannons and fireworks going off on the topmost level at the specific times during the performance and it was amazing!!!
-What is your favorite no-one-has-ever-heard-of feature of the place where you live?
I wouldn't say nobody has heard of them, it is more that few people know about them. There are some amazing festivals around specific food items that happen to celebrate the new crops. My favourites are a festival for groundnuts, one for mangoes and one for a type of a broad bean. One gets to buy the fresh crops as well as various dishes made of the crop being celebrated.
-Milk chocolate, or dark?
CHOCOLATE. Seriously, I love all chocolate. Milk, Dark, White, Ruby... it doesn't matter as long as it is chocolate.
-How do you decide what to name your pets? Include pictures of the little lovelies too!
Sadly, I have never had pets. Mainly because my dad was in a transferrable job that had us traversing the nation as well as travelling to places outside. Plus my mum has never been very comfortable with the idea of having a pet. But I always dreamed of having 3 basset hounds whom I would name Washington, Wellington and Worthington. Don't ask me why...I have absolutely no clue where those names came from. ☺️
-Do you prefer a luxury vacation or roughing it?
Both, depending on where I am going and when.
-Favorite vacation ever?
I did a solo trip to China a few years back that had me ticking off many of the items on my bucket list. It was awesome and the highlights of my trip were visiting the Palace Museum (Forbidden City), the Great Wall of China, and seeing the Terracotta Army in person.
-Favorite food? Do you cook or bake?
I am a complete foodie so there are too many to list here. I cook a lot and love to try out new recipes all the time.
-Favorite color? And do you have the colorful book cover to prove it? (Asking for the rainbow challenge.)
Red!!! I have many, many, too many red books.
-What was the very first concert you went to? Latest?
My very first concert was by Michael Learns to Rock which I was taken to by cousins. I enjoyed it but realized I am not cut out for concerts. I cannot deal with large crowds and lots of noise.
-Original Star Trek, or one of the spinoffs?
For some unknown reason, I have only ever watched the original Star Trek. I know of the other series but had never watched them. That is being corrected now as I am working my way through all the series. I completed watching the original series again and am at present almost at the end of the animated series.
-And, of course, what are your favorite books to recommend to anyone who will listen to you?
Ooh, I have so many favourites. I recently started adding them to a separate shelf which I am linking here.

Also, I replaced it with another book I am reading at present. The author's last name starts with W so it works out perfectly.
