Thanks, Angie! Now I get it.

And I only realised after seeing it on your list that I last read Watership Down before I joined Goodreads. I think it is time I read it again.

I have found that Google Sheets work on my phone on Chrome if I click the Desktop site option.
Open the spreadsheet in a Chrome tab, click the 3 dots on the top right-hand of the browser, and click the box next to "Desktop site". A tick mark appears in the little box and the desktop version is opened instead of the mobile version which is much better.
I hope this helps. ☺️

The weather here has been so weird, alternating between hot weather and stormy weather so I haven't felt like going anywhere. The reading has been carrying on so that's good. My audiobook subscription is taking a lot of audiobooks off their lists so I had to try and listen to at least my high-priority books before that. Luckily I managed to complete 3 of them even though 2 of them were very long.

Also, nice to find a fellow needlecrafter, though I am more into crochet, cross stitch, and embroidery. I started crocheting again after many, many years and am having a grand time with it. I want to learn to knit soon, socks in particular after having seen the many gorgeous patterns available online.
I am the same with multiple books, generally an audiobook, an ebook, and a hard copy going simultaneously.

Thanks, Jenny!

Anubis is the god of death and this book is about how the death of the MC's baby sister affects everybody in the book.
Does it make sense to anybody else? Please let me know if I need to switch it to something else. It does work for the spell out as well. Thanks.

Project Hall Mary was amazing. I can't wait to see if they can actually pull of..."
I am looking forward to the movie. Andy Weir has become an auto-read author for me after reading The Martian, Artemis and Project Hail Mary. The audiobooks of all 3 are excellent.

Thanks, Eunice!

After these, I need to find something lighter.

Thanks, Jenny! Sadly, that means two of the Marguerite Henry books don't work here but luckily my next few books are longer.

By the way, is there a minimum word count required for children's and middle grade books?

I hope all of you start with a good book. Once again, I woke up to no breakfast waiting for me. Stupid furry cats with neither opposable thumbs nor indeed the wish to make my ..."
My aunt had a Persian longhair who in his old age took to coming up close to the face of whoever was sleeping in the guest room and glaring until they woke up. This was only done on days his breakfast was delayed and I swear that look said very clearly, "I do not like you. My breakfast has been delayed because of you." That cat could give stinkeye like nobody else. All except me... for some reason that cat liked me.🤷🏻♀️

I also love discovering portmanteaus. I am leaving a link here which gives plenty of examples.

I definitely have to try it soon.
