LK, not sure if this is the right thread but I have to say - awesome jpegs for each team. Amazing work setting up and this cannot said enough - Thanks, LK!!
@Melissa - definitely need more books edited. R.L. Mathhewsom also needs an editor though from what I remember, she's hired an editor or close recently?! Yep, I agree. The mystery part was a really WTH? moment. And really, just when I thought the book was about to end, tat mystery thing happened. It was like the author forgot about in it in between. Have you read her 'burg series? I found it was better than her others that I read.

Since it's going to be smaller teams, it definitely will be much longer than Round I. I'm thinking it should take at least 5-6 mths but not sure though.
LK, Rebecca NJ has a goal of 150 books right? Just wondering if you meant the other Rebecca. Thanks for the hard work, LK!
@Leslie - I felt the same way. First time I picked it up, it wasn't that great but after going through the second book, I'm firmly in the Love camp.@Melissa - how did you like
? I thought it needed more editing - it was a little too long in the middle.
I second Leslie. Rebecca did an awesome awesome job as our captain! Leslie, you were awesome too - keeping this group active. Huge thanks to both of you.Great job, Team D! I had so much fun with you people.
Michelle, you can sign up HERE. Just click on the hyperlink. I'm not sure whether you can use the shelf name - I have to check with Lisa Kay on that.
I finished
.. 950 pages. I couldn't put it down so I stayed up to finish it. Loved it. I'm very glad I decided to continue the series. The book works for the Caprain's challenge, Spring Challenge and the monthly as well. (Amber's a mineral)
I'm off to bed. Have a great day, everyone!
Welcome Oo! Hope you have fun with us.I finished
- 409 pages. Will work for the Captain's challenge only. This was a really good book. The female MC was good but I'll hope for more ambiguity. It was a little bit cliche romance but I really liked it.Also finished
- 482 pages. Again, only for captain's challenge. Loved this book. One of my top favourites for this year. Tackled a few issues that aren't generally seen. Highly recommended :)
Deeded, as long as you finish it in April, it counts :)Deedee wrote: "just finished
, 246 pages for the Captain's ChallengeThere is a picture of the Earth on the cover (it's the smaller planet); however, I read half of the book ..."
Huh, we'll, since the goal is to have fun, let's just say either the cover OR the title must link to the five elements. So as an example, these words work: Mountain, Sea, River, Wind, Gale etc. Does that make sense?
Rhonda, since you set the challenge, you get to decide what goes. For what it's worth, I'd say yes to pic or a word in title. The Kite Runner is showing both sky and Earth so a definite Yes :)
