I finished Pretty Girls today too. I don't post my questions until Sunday though. I thought it was a pretty good book, it definitely got better as the story progressed, much better than Cop Town which was terrible. I'm torn on what to read next. None of the books I need to finish for the SRC fit our goals, and the books I have that will work for goals - none of them work for any other challenges. :) Maybe I'll just flip a coin.

Discussion Questions Day 1 Chapter i-2Q1) How do feel about the opening commentary?
I think I might just rather read this story and skip the current stuff.
Q2) What is your first impression ? Do you like the alternating view points or do you find them irritating ?
The alternating POV is not my favourite style of writing, but it seems to work for the story so I'm good.
Q3) What did you make of Paul's behaviour ? Why did he go into the alley ?
He's barely been introduced and I can barely remember their names at this point, nothing seems out of character yet because I don't know their characters.
Q4) What is your impression of Claire and her general attitude ?
I suspect Claire is going to annoy me greatly in the future, she's very teenage girl in a grown woman's body. I don't read YA. :)
Q5) What do you think of Lydia 's reaction to the news about Paul ?
Interesting, can't wait for the backstory.
Q6) The book's synopsis tells us the connection between Claire and Lydia. Do you think you would have made the connection from these initial introductions ?
Guess I didn't read the book jacket because I had no idea they were sisters until I read this question and then read the synopsis. Never would have made the connection without it. I thought missing/dead girl only had one sister.
Q7) Do you like any of the characters we have met so far?
Like them, not really yet, but I don't hate any of them with a fiery passion either, so yay!
