Thems the rules..."
And that in a nutshell is why I generally avoid cozy mysteries. :)

-- Read a book that contains the word mint
-- Read a book shelved (listed on the first page of the "top shelves" of the book) as 2001 - plurals and minor spelling variations are acceptable

18. Claire's crime is now known. Were you surprised? Does it seem in character?
19. Paul now seems to be a terrible character - serial rapist, stalker, hard core pornographer, bigamist, kidnapper? murderer? Do you think someone with that much to hide could really have kept everything from his wife? Is Claire going to start having A-ha moments as she researches his life?
20. I haven't read a lot of Slaughter novels, but those that I have read always seem to have dirty cops. How careful do you think the author has to be navigating Atlanta? Does she get arrested daily by angry cops? :D Sorry, my original question was almost exactly like #15. :D
21. Anna Kilpatrick - she was killed and dumped. Why weren't the other women, Julia included, found in the same way?
22. Ben Carver - involved in Julia's case or just a red herring? And did I miss something or is the quote in the Dr. Seuss book not explained yet.
The next section is when I actually started enjoying the book, sorry if my questions are lame.

Would a Companion of Valdemar work? A horse born of magic that can talk to its human and other Companions, run faster than the wind and just generally be awesome.

❂ Read a book where characters has a familiar (magical pet)"

Because I read Arrow's Flight last night.

I will check and get back to you about the spaceship, but glad you have a backup. :)

But Lydia wasn't a rehabilitated addict at that time, she was a fullblown addict who lied and stole and generally treated her family and friends like crap at all time in pursuit of her next high. I think it is completely understandable that they had been pushed too far and didn't believe anything anymore. I have never had to deal with anyone as close as my sister in that situation but I have known people who if they said the sky was blue I would have assumed that some worldwide catastrophe had occured that had changed the natural colour of the sky.
I hate the habit of blaming the victim, but some people do lie. And sometimes to save yourself you have to stop believing them. And distance yourself.

I honestly don't think this exists. I did a genre search and out of the top 10 books that came up I checked through all their Top Shelves and not one had "all" as a genre by itself. They had things like all-time-favorite or all-one-shelf or all-alone or fall, but not one had someone classify it as "all".
Has anyone found "all" as a classification by itself?

I decided to read one of my chunky books for the points. I'll check the library tonight to see if I have any Clive Cussler to finish, he's usually good for a ship on the cover. I also have a short "bicycle" book that I could get to on Sunday.
