are the bonus points for group 1 still 50 even though the word is longer?

MPG is main page genre and it's if 'crime' or 'mystery > crime' is listed in the first group of tags on the main page for the book

i am going to ask if the bonus points for group 1 are still 50 because if it is then i think we would maybe get more points for a spell it out depending on what we do. since this word is longer the 50 bonus point would come out to less than 10 points per letter so they would all be worth 30-something ...

also i think i have something for 'read a book with a skull or other poison logo on the cover and that contains the word POISON in the text' in the cooldown. just need to double check the text when i get home but since 'poisoning' is in the summary i feel like surely somewhere in the text must be the word poison lol

ok i can do 2 4 and 6. i have fairly short books for all three of them and it seems like they are the ones you guys don't want anyway ;)

i know i hate the dumb faerie rules too, they're so hypocritical. but yeah it was interesting that things work so differently in the undersea

haha yeah i guess two years is not long to wait compared to some authors. most of my favorite authors seem to write pretty quickly but there's always someone who keeps putting off their release date

you can just take over the S book if you're going to read it anyway, that way i can just enjoy darkdawn and not stress about it. normally i wouldn't be reading something so long for this but i've been waiting for 2 years lol

i was also wondering that, hoping it's today or early tomorrow so we have a few days to plan

I see that only one S is left unclaimed so I will find something for that. I should finish my Y book today and the other book I'm working on is looooong so I doubt I will finish that til Sunday. I'll hopefully find something short for S lol

about the foreshadowing (view spoiler)[and luidaeg killing toby i'm wondering if it's going to be like she kills her but then she comes back to life or something like that? because toby has definitely straight up died before - like her heart has stopped etc - but then she still came back from it so i'm wondering if toby's indestructible nature will help her get around it, especially if she becomes full fae in the future. also evening was killed and came back so i'm hoping the luidaeg isn't going to permanently kill her at any rate (hide spoiler)]

also the short story at the end was so cute. poor raj!

ok cool, i think i'm going to request it for next wednesday if that's ok because the way that the lava challenge is set up that will just be easier for me

also do you guys want to try the i bring the fire books next week? i'm reading mackenzi lee's new loki book now and i can tell i'm gonna need to reread them anyway to have more loki in my life lol

aw that sucks :( yeah i tried to use goodreads on my phone once and i was just like #nope, i will wait till i get back to my computer lol. we've all been pretty quiet for the past few days but we're doing good and we're on track so i think it's all good :)

oh yeah you are right! i knew it was something stupid on their part lol. it was literally that when someone is shot with elf shot they don't think 'oh hey that is a pointy arrow stabbed into someone' bc they are so preoccupied with the sleeping part of it

@Claudia i know! and i mean i guess gillian does keep getting kidnapped bc people want to get to october but also ...STILL NOT OCTOBER'S FAULT???? and like she always comes to save her so she clearly cares. i mean it's not unrealistic i guess but it is infuriating lol

and that's such a good question about the elf shot ...i can never remember how it works with selkies because i thought it was something weird. like didn't connor die from it because he was a selkie and was technically 'human' underneath the skin but then they put the skin on gillian to save her from the elf shot so i'm like ??? but yeah you'd think she could take the cure if she is doing okay with the skin ...

i'm on chapter 20 i think so about to finish up, but i just love how toby can't leave her house basically without someone getting murdered or someone trying to start a war lol. every time she's like 'yeah everything is great and relaxing' i'm just like mmhmmmmm

also there are so many cute toby/tybalt moments in this book! i hope their wedding is going to be sooooon. i wonder if she's trying to save that for the last book or something or if it's going to be soon
