i just looked and ours [pompeii or bust] is like that as well. also i'm not sure how long it takes karen to lock/unlock everything for all teams but our round 3 is still locked as well.

karen said she had a brain fart and she's unlocking all the spread sheets now so you should be able to do it in a bit

did the time change? we have several books that still need to be added as well and if we aren't able to we will have a lot of 'unfinished' words ...

yeah i'm really worried about the sheets being closed early ...if they just decided to randomly close it early then we are gonna lose a LOT of points for unfinished words ...

i assumed that since carmen said to leave it open then we were good to go but i can also delete my posts if needed

ok, think i am gonna do then since that has an actual forest on the cover

hey everyone! this is only my second tower teams so i'm excited to start and see how it will compare to last year. also i love our little doll avatar at the top of the page, looks like something loki would wear ;)

haha so glad we all got to witness Loki's first experience with fake boobs ;) and then he was like 'well in asgard we just magic our boobs' and i'm like well if only that was a viable option here! i would magic mine smaller [much to his dismay i'm sure]

i finished it yesterday [as per usual lol] but there's a lot of game-changing stuff in this one so i'll just wait and comment as you guys go along.

hey mods, we were wondering over in the 'does this book work' thread - can we read shorter children's books or graphic novels from the 'i only saw the movie' list? i thought yet because we could last time we had a list to choose from, but someone else thought no because you didn't specifically mention it like you did last time.

i found a few other options if we don't think the above will work so i went ahead and claimed the nature/animal task

if someone else wants to do the brown/echidna one they can or i also have a few options for that if it would be easier for me to take it

do you think this counts as a 'natural' setting on the cover? i know it's kind of stylized but it's water and a deer, both of which are very nature-ish to me

i think if there was a list that said like 'books with bitchy main characters' or something similar then that would be good, although a blurb or quote would also work

i thought they said before that you can read anything on the list but we'll see how they reply. i was also wondering as i was considering reading a graphic novel

well sophie has to take one of those because she has to do at least one book lol

ok, i probably won't read that one until this coming wednesday or thursday just because that is how the lava schedule is working out.

just started this one. i love how loki is outraged that they tried to honeypot him with a woman with fake boobs. like #priorities loki lol

i would say the fishing lure should work bc you can like prick your finger with it. jaws should work as well bc they approved the t-rex teeth on the jurassic park cover so to me those shark teeth are basically the same

i think i will be starting later tonight as well. probably won't listen to it all in one go this time as i'm starting later at night ;)

also there is a 3.5 novella that comes after this so i'm not sure if you guys want to read that or have access to it if you've been getting these from the library or something? i'm going to listen to it since it's juuust over 3 hours and will be perfect for lava so i figured if we decided to do it we could just use this thread.

i'll try to look for stuff for groups 1 and 2 later tonight or maybe tomorrow
