I finished another seven of my books and updated message 454 (now completed 9/30):

Only now I noticed I reated all seven 4* :-)
#2. = - the only non-fiction I was able to finish so far and I was way better than I expected especially regarding that I'm no more interested in this topic.

#9. & #12. written by one of my favorite authors: Dee Henderson. The Rescuer is a nice conclusion of her most loved series though I didn't care that much about this particular character. True Devotion is a new series and I'm already looking forward to the next book in the series.

#19. Since I read this series was made into a movie I was looking forward to read it. This book is pretty tough - the crimes of the serial killer as well as the personal situation of the heroine are nothing for the rather sensitive souls but great characters and you keep guessing until the very end even if the perp is named within the first pages!
#25. a completely new series and author for me. Even if I thought it's impossible to achieve what the author aimed he was really able to write a book that was so fun I just had to lough out loud, at the same time it was so thrilling I wasn't sure I'll be able to deal with the excitement and the graphic descriptions of the crimes and there is also some romance and really a great plot. And the next one in the series is even better! Wow I'm already looking forward to read the third :-)

#4. & #27. = historical fiction (HF) is not my favorite genre anymore so any book I'm able to rate 4* it's more than great. I know both authors from the time I read almost only HF and I think from time to time I'll read one or another book written by those two :-)

I'll just completed condomium and updated message 5. Though I think I'll just continue until End of November - just for fun :-)

= 3* (finished 9/2/16) Somehow I understand why this book became so fast a classic and I'm glad I read it - but it was one of the rather painfull and long experiences. Personally I struggle more and more with historical fiction - escpecially those about WWII - and I'm really happy the book is finally off my TBR :-)

4* (finished 9/3/16) I read so many good stuff about this book I thought let's try it. In the foreward to the 10-year-anniversary edition the author writes the series is intended to be extremely fun and extremely scary at the same time. Since I'm not English native speaker and not into the rather darker humor I wasn't always able to get the point and enjoy the fun but I can ensure you about the scary part, he was completely correct. Think twice before you read it if you can't deal with hard-core stuff (violent serial killer thriller with dual POV - detective and perp). I'm still looking forward to the next one in the series to find out if I'm made for those books or if I rather go for something more tame ;-)
