Cocky Roomie by Faleena Hopkins
"I haven't read a single book by this person, and I never will.

EDIT:

Well, hell. I saw that Hopkins' books were on KU, and in the interest of being fair, I decided to try and read the first in the series. After all, it could just be that Hopkins is..." Read more of this review »

My mouth goes as soft as my pussy is moist.
This reminds me of those SAT preps Conan O'Brien used to do. Mouth is to soft as pussy is to: Fishy, pink, David Hasselhoff, or moist.

Jake’s eyes drift to my blouse again. “By how your nips turned pebble-hard when I opened the door, I can see that. Even through a padded bra, too. Impressed.”
This guy is gross.

Fling Club by Tara Brown

Story People by Brian Andreas
“I read once that the ancient Egyptians had fifty words for sand & the Eskimos had a hundred words for snow. I wish I had a thousand words for love, but all that comes to mind is the way you move against me while you sleep & there are no words for that.”

“He's normal and squeaky and responsible. Shell would call him Vanilla. I like Vanilla. You know what you're getting into with it. You can add anything to it. It doesn’t spank you and make you like it.”
Tara Brown, The Lonely

“I needed to see you." He repeats himself.
I smile. I like that word, need. It's not want. He had no choice because it was a need to see me. I like that.”
Tara Brown, The Lonely

“I will always be that guy's girl. I've made him so big in my mind that I can't even move around in there. It's not that I can even be with him. I just won't ever be without him. I'll never be whole without him.”
Tara Brown, The Lonely
