I finished
The Cuckoo's Calling and
Cleopatra's Shadows on 6/30/16. Cleopatra's shadows was excellent! Cuckoo -- not so much...
What is everybody up to now? I am hoping to get to Disneyland at the end of this month, but still aren't sure yet.
Laila Jane, your big day is coming up soon, isn't it? So excited for you!

I feel really overwhelmed at times, too. I have a (sometimes) crazy full-time job, I do all the meal prep/planning/cooking, laundry, bills....I have very little time left over to read during the weekdays. I mostly read in the early mornings and then late night when I should be asleep! Weekends are when I binge -- especially mornings in bed. This morning I woke up at 8:30, but stayed down reading till 11:00!!
I really enjoyed
Murder on Bamboo Lane, but
Killing Time just was sort of -meh- . I am seriously liking
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe and
Joyland!
How are everyone's picks and pans doing?

Double Completion post!!
Killing TimeFinished: 7/9/16
Page count: 274

How it fits: Build your chariot - wheels

Finished my chariot book
Murder on Bamboo Lane (wheels) and my relay book
Killing Time (2nd heat)! I'm off to add them to our books read thread now! Yaaayyy me! Yaaayyy Harpy Eagles! I used to be a cheerleader, but that was many years and many, many pounds ago...

So far I'm enjoying
Murder on Bamboo Lane
. I really liked
Cleopatra's Shadows and I struggled with
The Cuckoo's Calling

Good Luck, Nanci!
I was wanting to ask if we were all enjoying our books or just scrambling? What was the best thing you've read so far during WOBBLE? What was the worst?? Inquiring minds want to know...

I just saw that. Thanks, Alissa! If we want to keep Bamboo Lane for the wheels in chariot, please put me down for
White Elephant Dead for page jumping. (Hardcover 288 pages). That should work, right?
Amanda wrote: "Lauri wrote: "And is it a yes on Joyland for arm?..."
Definitely! :)"Yaaaaayyy! Thanks very much. We're making you guys work so hard here!
Amanda wrote: "Lauri wrote: "I think I may confused about the arm thing? Does it need to be a naked arm? All my arms have clothes... Am I back to the drawing board? Going to the library later today to look for mo..."Okey dokey! Aristotle it is... And is it a yes on
Joyland for arm?

OR I found
Joyland which has and exceptional bare arm with fingers showing...

I think I may confused about the arm thing? Does it need to be a naked arm? All my arms have clothes... Am I back to the drawing board? Going to the library later today to look for more. I can read
Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe if you think it would qualify for plains (open landscape)...
The Swans of Fifth Avenue or
Bossypants for arm then? I have more, too, I just need to find my notes...

For arm I'll read
The Nanny Diaries for sure! I need a laugh...
Any bonus for TWO complete arms?
Laura wrote: "*Girly Squeal* 2 books left for heat 1 and we can start reading for other events!!"LOVE that *Girly Squeal!*

OK. Now upon closer inspection I have books that will work for animal, lots of full people, lots of arms, plains and wheels. Please let me know what is needed most and I'll fill in the titles. :)

I have lots of arm books! Put me down for one, please! I also have
Stone Butterfly which will work for 'stone.'
I can do
Animal Farm for a short book (102 pgs.)
Other books I have to read are:
Murder on Bamboo Lane (292 pgs.)
The Lovers (341 pgs.)

I finished
Any Place I Hang My Hat on 6/29/16
It was an interesting book about life, love and one woman's search for the mother that abandoned her as a child. I'm really looking forward to reading more from this author!
