Just started Strange the Dreamer this morning and WOW! The author uses words like an artist painting a masterpiece! The world building is incredible!

I am now #63 in line for A Gentleman in Moscow from my library! Hope I get it before the end of the month! Think I'll start on Strange the Dreamer tomorrow! Should be able to knock out at least a couple of books over the weekend.
♦Ashley♦ wrote: "Stacey, I just started Strange the Dreamer too. I'm sucked in already!"You guys are making want to start Strange the Dreamer tonite! But I swore to myself I'd go to sleep before midnight....
I'm all over the place right now! Finishing up some buddy reads & then I'll cut loose. A Discovery of Witches, while interesting, is starting off slowly for me...I just got Strange the Dreamer from the library yesterday, but haven't started yet.
Go team Rogue One!
I have! It's pretty cool! I skip around so much depending on mood it isn't even funny! I usually have at least 1 chunkster going, 1 paranormal, 1 cozy mystery, 1 non-fiction & some fluff. That's just the minimum! I don't know why I'm like this... Maybe there's a 12-step program somewhere?
Thanks, everyone for the good thoughts! Leading off with A Discovery of Witches, And I Darken for my big books. Then I'll see what tasks I get for my 2 other group challenges tomorrow and fit those in. I think my (unofficial) adult ADD might come in handy! I love to read multiple books simultaneously. 😀

I knew that this was a possibility after I had my first colonoscopy last year & they told me I have diverticulosis. Apparently it's more common in Hawaii. Like 1 in 3 people have it because we don't eat a high enough fiber diet. I go see my dr. this afternoon to see what she has to say.
But, hey! I finished a bunch of books and am starting more for Tower Teams. Yaaaayy!
Thanks for the good wishes, everybody! Maybe I missed this earlier, but how long will this challenge last? I'm trying to strike the right balance between long, medium & short books...😀

I'll have extra reading time, but not in a good way. Had to go to the ER yesterday. I have diverticulitis! I'll be out sick got at least the rest of this week & possibly longer. Got some great pain melds, so when I'm conscious, I'll be reading! I might start out with A Discovery of Witches, but not sure yet..

I'm reading The Good, the Bad, and the Undead right now! Yup, Rachel is pretty hot! I've never read the Dresden Files before, either. Must remedy that soon!
Carlos Santana was totally awesome! I'm sooo glad we went! I'm happy to have given up Into the Badlands and my endless books to have seen him live in concert! Oh, and date nite with my husband was pretty good, too!Chris, we had flash flood warnings on Friday. Luckily we live on the 6th floor! What is going on with the worlds weather??

My nerdy dream is to work my way through the fiction portion of my neighborhood library until I've read it all. Alphabetically by author, of course!
Girl, you need to see the 1st Guardians movie! It's hysterical! I'm sure the new one is awesome, but I think the jokes will make more sense if you watch the original first.... Ours isn't in theaters till May 5th.
Ora wrote: "Shhhh...we won't tell. Never heard of VK. I only remember 25 and 37 degrees Celsius from labs, so 33 must feel really nice if the humidity isn't too high yet.

The lake sounds nice! Whereabouts are you located? I haven't been to the beach yet this year. Right now it's coolish and rainy. Damn you, global warming!
My husband & I are going to see Santana in concert on Sunday evening. I'm pretty excited for that!
I am proud to say I only utilize the public library! I don't have an ereader & hate reading on my tablet. I like the feel and smell of actual books. I am also poor & live in a small apartment, so no longer purchase books. If I can't get it from the library, I don't read it. That being said, Hawaii has a wonderful public system! There's no limit to the amount of books you can borrow. I have 122 books out right now. You can search the system online & usually get even a popular book within a week. I go visit my neighborhood branch every Monday afternoon & leave with shopping bags full of books!
I can deal with sticky. I don't necessarily like it, but I am frequently sticky. Menopause sucks big time. Itchy would drive me nuts!!Would you rather act in a play or sing The National Anthem at a stadium in front of thousands of sports fans??

Where are you from, Eunice? I hate the hot humid weather in Hawaii. I like the cold winter months better than summer...
