Ha! After reading what y'all are saying about 'You,' I'm glad my library does NOT have it! I am off the hook for this one. Right now I'm really enjoying Glass Houses and Paper and Fire! Am having a s-l-o-w time with A Discovery of Witches although I do find it interesting. I should be able to knock out a couple of books this weekend -- I just need to settle down & stop looking at the pile of new books calling to me from the corner!! 😉

25. Did you guess the truth about Lazlo? What does this mean for the other hundreds of children that the Gods had and "disappeared"?
I actually guessed awhile back and flipped back to the beginning where they described Lazlo as an infant as being gray... Another big clue was that he was the only person whose skin changed color when he touched the Citadel.
I think that this opens up the possibility that there are Godspawn all over the place! In towns flung far & wide. All orphans & foundlings. Tons of little gray babies will miraculously start showing up and show the general population how normal they are!
26. Lazlo and Sarai wanted Minya to catch her without even thinking of the consequences. Is it a "life" if you have no body and your will is not your own?
I don't think either one of them stopped to consider that Minya wouldn't care for Sarai like a sister, tenderly and without question. Minya obviously has her own vendetta, um, I mean agenda. It would've been far kinder to let Sarai go free -- unless there's a resurrection in the future. Another thing alchemists have long been searching for...
27. Any guesses for the next book? What would you like to see happen?
The afore-mentioned resurrection of Sarai, naturally. Their love is too sweet and pure to just die away like that!
28. Final thoughts on the book? Will you read the next one? Will you read more of Laini's work (if you haven't already?
I really enjoyed this book! Even though it was a chunkster, I had a very hard time putting it down. I didn't care for the way it ended so sadly and abruptly, though. I must read the next one!
I'm also going back to read Daughter of Smoke & Bone now. I started it awhile ago & never completed it. So now I'll go read the series while I wait for the latest sequel...
Hope everyone is having a wonderful long weekend! I've made a huge dent in Strange the Dreamer. Should finish tomorrow. I'm liking it so well, I think I'll read Daughter of Smoke & Bone next month! I've just been working on my piles of laundry, bags full of library books & binge watching random new release movies on Netflix! My favs so far: Zootopia and Train to Busan -- it's a Korean movie with ZOMBIES! Highly recommended for all fans of the Walking Dead.

There were all these references to 'Christmastown' where little girls & boys go to live forever. Creepy much? But nothing specific. Just general creeps... I say if Ang's Aunt Kitty loved it at age 95, go for it! Incidentally I had an Aunty Kitty, too! She passed on years ago, but also quite a character and big reader. Who knew?

OMG Ang! I had no idea that Joe Hill was Stephen King's son till your post just now! Color me stupid! I just googled him & he looks so much like his dad, it's uncanny. I've read Heart-Shaped Box, Horns and am halfway through NOS4A2... I always make jokes about Stephen King's children being scared of bedtime stories. Double duh!!

Ooh! Michelle, maybe you should avoid Pet Sematary entirely forever. It also deals with a young child.... That bothered me waaay more than the pets!! Can you imagine being Stephen King's child? Nobody would ever want to hear a bedtime story!

I LOVE Pet Sematary!! Also Bag of Bones & Dreamcatcher. Gotta love a book with shitweasels in it!! Planning on reading The Gunslinger next.
I try to read at least 1 Stephen King book per year, usually around Halloween. I have never successfully finished IT yet! I've attempted it at least twice, but never quite made it! Maybe this will be the year!

I need to hold a real paper & ink book. Love the weight, the feel, the smell. I've tried using ereaders, but do not like them at all. I only read library books now.
