Yes that appealed to me too. Jackie French writes a gardening column for my local newspaper.

Even though three letters are ideal to give us a little edge (5 points worth), we can ..."Right. I couldn’t really understand the supply drop letter thingy. Thanks.😀

What happens if we/they can’t find a book? Should an easier option be subbed instead?

The physics one, I think. Ics is hard and then it would probably be one letter or back to the whole word. My retrospect book throws up a few ect titles and moon is easy with the 1 extra letter.

My husband’s a jazz musician and retired jazz history lecturer. I’ll have a look for something not too eye wateringly academic.

Can the letters cross words? Eg Could we have, A Cyan Sea to match legacy? I know that’s the other team’s book, and I made up the title as an example.

Hah! Not sure how much was actually In Panama. Probably just enough.

@Kaley - Definitely missed it, damn! But watched 2 episodes last night 😍"I agree, Ashleigh. Lots of fun and I’ve read books that have been lurking on my shelves for years. Great captains and team, too.

Just Cup of Gold left for me with plenty of time to finish.

Most didn’t have a picture of the contents just a happy smiling person. I ended up trying to mime washing clothes. Not very successfully, I thought, but the lovely lady helping me sold me a box of something which turned out to be correct. 😆

American Dirt is a stinker to follow! Let’s use it. Hehehe

Maybe one of those Christmas books? A Merry Christmas type thing? Or A Mess/ Message...

I’ve just found Cup of Gold on one of my bookshelves. I thought I had an ancient copy but bookshelf blindness must have struck before. It’s on the list for Panama and if I really concentrate I can probably get through it and my other two. It’s quite short.

I’m up for the new mini. Sounds fun and I’ll read pretty much anything. Off to see what I have for the first one. Short is best obviously although we have a week to read a book each, I guess.
Have we done our supply drop?
