The book I’m reading is MPG marked Thriller which is where I’ve put it in the mini but it’s not thrilling at all. It’s quite unpleasant, really. It is contemporary though but not marked as such. Do we go by the MPG for these classifications?

Ooh, looking forward to reading it. I like Miss M. She’s an inspiring elderly woman for those of us reaching the ‘invisible and underestimated’ age.

Suits me.They're all books I want to read but other challenge books get in the way. That said, if anyone has a 7 to take the place of Time to Depart in the first list, that's fine.

These are books either on my TBR pile or should be and I have them all.
#1-8 at least 6 options
#9- 1
#10-1 but used for door
#13-1
#14-1

Sweet which I've already read but it's a contemporary romance just over 100 pages and is #7 in a series if anyone w..."I have quite a few series books too. Two are historical romances so cover 2 areas. Also have quite a few higher in the series numbering than 8 if we want do that for one section. Eg At Bertram’s Hotel is Miss Marple series #10

I have a copy of Oh Pioneers! by Willa Cather which District 4 read for shelter. Rd 1 I think it was.
Same for District 12 . At Bertam's Hotel
by Agatha Christie which I'd prefer as I haven't read it yet. There are lots of doors in a hotel and the entrance door is on the cover!

I finish books I’m not enjoying but I do tend to skim those. I wouldn’t read more in a series I wasn’t enjoying because as you said, it takes you away from books you do enjoy. When you think about it that’s a bit crazy. Life’s too short to waste good reading time on something you don’t like…unless it’s for one of these challenges! Haha

So your series reading in order thing doesn’t compel you to finish the series and read number 3, I assume?

Oh my goodness, Shelby. I found it I maybe I should have made the sacrifice…

We’re missing Battle book 9 from the tracking sheet.

Finished my Battle book
The Angel of Waterloo

Aha. I found a button that said 'Desktop version' on my profile page. Who knew? And who pressed it in the first place to change the setting?? Hahaha Many thanks, Vicky.

I think in Safari you can click the "aA" button and there's an option to request the desktop site which should fix it!"Thanks! I'll give that a crack. It really is painful by contrast and I'm in the midst of having a protracted PC issue fixed. End in sight on Wednesday all going to plan.

I’m on p273 of 419. Will finish The Angel of Waterloo tomorrow. Strike 5 from memory.

Checked my PC, I meant.
Which I now have done and it's the same as before. Must be the app. Phew!

Gosh Vicky, I hope that’s all it is. I’m on my iPad atm. Haven’t checked my OC. Browser is Safari on the iPad.

Our own page where our reading and read lists of books are all different too. Kind of spread out so you have to keep clicking show more to see another five or six books in the list.

The page numbers at the top of the first page along with ‘newest’ have gone. Also no edit or reply to messages. There’s no way I can find of quickly going to the newest messages without scrolling to the bottom of the first page where you can then click on the most recent page number, then scroll through those.

How do you get to the most recent comments without scrolling right down to the bottom of the first page? And where do you easily see if there are new comments?

What’s with this new layout? Really clumsy.
