I'm really curious to see what's in that hidden chest. The poem at the beginning of Chapter 2 seems to hint at the big mystery. I still feel that Count Saint-Germain is the villain. (hide spoiler)]

I finished. Really enjoyed the magical aspects of this book and liked the main characters. I love Ms. Allen's writing and hope she will write a follow up for these characters like she has just done for Garden Spells.

Just got The Good, the Bad, and the Undead from the library. I plan to start it by the end of the week.

(view spoiler)[So now we know what Dulcie did. I feel sorry for Emily because I know it was hard to see her mother in that light. But she also knows the woman that Dulcie became. And poor Julia. What a rough childhood she had. It will be interesting to see if she and Sawyer get together after all their past history. And those Mullaby lights! Curious to find out what they really are. So glad you're joining in on this buddy read! I've only read through chapter 4 so far but I'm intrigued by the characters and the mystery.

The only one that seems to half-way have it together is Perrin and he's so blown away about the wolf connection that I don't know what's going to happen with him. I'm really curious to see what happens in Tar Valon with Nynaeve and Egwene. (hide spoiler)]

I finished. It was an okay read. Especially since it was written by an author so young. I'll probably read the next in the series sometime soon to see what happens next. I like all the main characters except Eragon who just gets on my nerves.
